Pros:The 3D and special effect were very good (this was the main reason I purchased it.) Cons: The movie bombed. The acting and direction were poor, and the plot was weak and convoluted. Aaron Eckhart failed on this attempt, but it's clear the director lacked some focus here, even though he has made better movies. One of the writers (Kevin Grevioux) previously worked on the underworld movies, which I did not care for, but if you like that series then you may like this as it depicts similar conflicts and characters (preternatural) involved in an epic struggle for survival It was the first time I had seen the film

This is a movie I liked, don't know why others didn't. It's just a different take on Frankenstein. The 3D is very satisfying and well done.

Got the 3D Blu Ray in Black Friday. Can't beat the price. Movie is fine, nothing to write home about.

movie was better than i expected, 3d looked very good.

I did enjoy it for its mindless fun but the movie felt like a wasted opportunity to fully develop or even build on the great lore & philosophy from the book the character is based on. The 3D effects were also not that great.

OK - so you are getting this 3D movie at a BARGIN PRICE BUT...the DIGITAL COPY CODE has EXPIRED! which (I am guessing) is why the DVD is so cheap

I,Frankenstein is a horrible movie, and not in a good way. I actually bought this movie as a gag gift for a friend who had the unfortunate bad taste to see the movie in theaters. The acting is terrible, the storyline is cringe-worthy, and whoever gave this project the green light should be fired. Don't buy, don't watch for free, just get a friend to punch you in the gut as hard as possible and save yourself some time.
