Deeply disappointing ibuypower technical support
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer itself is well built and seems to work great. I was impressed with the packaging and setup instructions. The keyboard that came provided with the PC has a faulty space bar. Such a minor (but super frustrating problem) I thought no need to return the whole machine to best-buy over a keyboard fault I will just contact ibuypower support. Well I have emailed then 3 times now over the last 4 days and have yet to receive a response. I am now concerned that should a problem (perhaps more serious) occur in the future I will be left with radio silence from ibuypower. I therefore have been left with no choice but to return the whole machine over a faulty keyboard.

Service Nightmare
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wis this was just a bad dream. The PC was working fairly well for about 6 months, then i started to notice a loud "clicking" noise coming from inside the PC. I didn't use this PC every day, so i figured perhaps it was a bit dirty and I took some compressed air to try to clean it out and identify where the noise was coming from. I'm not super techy so i'll describe this the best i can - it was coming from one of the cooling fans that were attached to the graphics card. To no avail, i couldn't get it to stop clicking and it was loud/annoying enough that i contacted iBUYPOWER about the issue towards the beginning of Dec. We determined where the problem was coming from - and i didn't feel comfortable enough to try to take the fan off since there were approximately 10000 cables connecting this thing, so i elected to ship the entire PC to them for repairs since it was covered under warranty. I wasn't in a HUGE rush to get this thing back since it was around the holidays and i figured there would be a "slight" delay with everything. However, it took over a month to get this thing back and i had to contact THEM to get updates, versus getting updated BY them. It was also basically impossible to get a hold of someone on their phone #, never did get anyone to pick up. They had a chat available "sometimes", otherwise you have to go to their discord and play a literal lotto to get someone to take a look because of how backed up they were (seriously). The best part about the "repairs"... we came to the understanding that it was a faulty cooling fan...fine. They had to switch out the MOBO...fine. They then inform me that during their testing, the SSD WAS FAULTY!?!?! I therefore lose EVERYTHING I had on the SSD. I guess part of this is my fault for not backing this up onto another hard drive, but i had no reason to believe there was anything wrong with this thing. In the end i get the PC back, over a month later, the case looks dirtier than when i sent it, i have a new SSD with none of my data even attempted to be backed up before they proceeded with repairs (they asked me for my log in info prior to shipping, so this COULD have been done if they thought there was risk of the SSD becoming damaged during repairs), and absolutely 0 care for the inconvenience. I was fine with the fact something went wrong with the PC, it happens and that's what warranties are for. I was far less impressed with their support for when this issue happened to the point that i wouldn't recommend this to even my worst enemies for the trouble i had to go through to get this repaired. I stayed away from "big box" name brands for what i thought was a quality product/support and came away extremely disappointed. As long as you don't run into issues i'm sure you'll enjoy the system fine, but in my case i did have an issue and it was an absolute nightmare to get fixed.

Worse gaming PC than IBP 1060 I bought 2 years ago
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst PC I have ever owned. The first time I bought this, which was December 2019, the PC did not work properly. It could not even handle League of Legends on medium settings because their was a major internal hard drive problem. I returned it within a week and they gave me another. The PC ran fin for 3 months and now here I am, 4 months later. The PC will run extremely loud and hot over Borderlands 3 on just high settings at 60FPS within 20 minutes into the game. The fans are ridiculously loud, it sounds like the thing is going to explode. It is literally louder than the games at 60% volume. If I play any games that I enjoy for longer than 30 minutes my room is boiling hot and the glass is actually hot the touch. I checked internal temps and my CPU is nearing 80C and my GPU is at 90C WITH JUST 20 MINUTES INTO ANY GAME ON HIGH SETTINGS. This is a high-end computer, and it cannot even handle low-end 2010 graphiced games on med-high. My IBP 1060 I used to own could handle the same games much better than this. If you are going to buy ANY PC, make sure it is not this one. I wish I had bought anything else. Spend the extra money on a different brand, I won't shop IBP anymore. What convenience it stops working properly after it's too late to exchange it.

This one is a lemon and is leaving me sour smh
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing but trouble. After unpacking and setting up 3 led fans out. Had to open the back panel to secure wires then started to work. Any time and update I had an issue. Boot up each time was an issue. Now the SSD is not responding. I put at least 20 hours into this machine to try to get it going again. I think an MSI - Z490-A PRO motherboard may be in order. I have a Best Buy BB931. No problems at all. This one is a lemon and is leaving me sour smh

Bad Experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This PC came with a lot of issues. First Windows crashed hard and had to be reinstalled, losing a lot of my files. It happened twice, so I think there is something wrong with the SSD. Then the liquid cooler failed. They told me they would send a replacement, but never did. Now they won't honor it, and told me to buy a new part from Amazon. Build your own or buy a different brand.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first purchased this PC 9 months ago, I loved it. Ran great and could handle graphic intensive games. Now for about a month I've been experiencing random shutdowns and loud noises coming from the PC nonstop. After lots of troubleshooting and taking it to BestBuy to get checked out, it seems that most likely the water pump is failing which should not go bad so soon.

Completely broken on arrival...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer after one hour of use froze to the point where I had to hard reset it. This happened at least 10 more times over the course of 5 hours of total use. When I had to hard reset the computer, it wouldn't turn on under any circumstance unless I waited 10 or so minutes. THEN my internet kept dropping, the computer was unable to find any wifi connections, every other item in my house that requires wifi had no trouble connecting so it was definitely the computer. The internet connection when it did work lasted maybe an hour before it would drop randomly and wouldn't be able to locate any networks for hours through out the following day. For a computer at this price, I expect a quality product that I can depend on and to receive the product in such a state is down right insulting. To have a computer be totally worthless on the second date of owning it is laughable. This was my first time buying from this company and will be my last. Have some sense of pride in your work ibuypower.

Very disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Comp less than a year ago. For the last few months it shuts off randomly. With it less than a year old you would think it would just be replaced. It is not and now I’m $180 into repairs on it. Was great when it work but like I said in less than a year and huge issues. Do not recommend

Slots not fitted
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many people did, slots are not fitted. The problem was screws were too tight, so I had to unscrew fans, gpu, and mother board. Then I could fix it.

Great if you want to throw money away
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After finally setting it up and downloading my games it would run good for 20 minutes then the entire computer would freeze and I would have to shut down the entire thing. I can’t get any help from customer service without them feeing me $40. Last time I ever get a computer at Best Buy. Sell you broken stuff and don’t try and fix it. From now on I’m going to PC laptops they have been the only ones telling me what’s wrong with my computer.
