There's a reason there are so many 5 star reviews on this machine and my experience has been great with it too! I'd highly recommend it and would say don't even bother with wasting time looking at HP, Lenovo, Dell, or Apple machines if you want a solid machine built for gaming, video editing/authoring and streaming!
Granted, there certainly are even higher end machines that you can custom configure at iBUYPOWER's website and I'd recommend that too if you're looking for certain specs. This machine hits most of the right marks to make it an overall solid machine.
This year I was considering building a computer from the ground up and then started looking closer at iBUYPOWER and the components they put in this build vs. the cost of building a similar machine myself. My experience has been that you're getting basically the same thing without the headache of trying to source parts and get it all to work - which since COVID happened is a real challenge.
The build quality is overall very nice on this specific machine, with really the only downside being the SSD being a SATA SSD and not an NVME SSD. That said, the SATA SSD built in works really well and it feels more than fast enough, though once you've had NVME you'll never go back. It was easy to upgrade and I put one in pretty much the same day I bought it.
Like the NVME, there is plenty of expansion available so you can easily add more storage, more cards, more fans, more lighting and so on. The motherboard has RGB headers so that's a snap too.
In terms of overclocking, you certainly could given it has a K processor, and an AIO watercooler, but you'll want to watch the cooling and power as both may need to be upgraded to do any serious Overclocking. Note that doing so could void your warranty and this machine performs solid enough that an OC is not necessary. In addition, the ASRock motherboard in it is a decent motherboard but there are models better suited to Overclocking.
Overall, it's been a solid machine for the last few days with no issues whatsoever. Temps hold solid when playing AAA title games (and this machine is certainly a BUNCH quieter than I expected). This machines specs with the RTX 2080 Super play all the game titles that are out now with no hiccups in performance. If you're on the fence like I was and just want a decent machine that performs solid without the headache of building one, look no further.

Summary: Don't be discouraged to buy a pre-built PC nowadays.
For the price I paid (Black Friday pricing), this rig is above and beyond the value of its components. The CPU and GPU alone make up 2/3 of the cost of the package alone. Then you'll have to tack on everything else to make this thing actually run.
Performance-wise, it's what you'd expect from a machine running an i7 with a 2080 Super. You can find out all about this with a little bit of Googling. Upon boot-up, it posted right away and all hardware components were accounted for.
I did run into a couple of minor hiccups. The RGB on one of the intake fans was not on and it turns out a cable was unplugged during shipment. Plugged it back in. Also, the motherboard peripheral ports didn't line up well with the case, but I gave it a little nudge from the outside and it lined up just fine.
Lastly, the keyboard and mouse are not the best quality, so you're better off finding something new or using what you already have.
I truly recommend this machine and I hope you can get your hands on one at BF pricing before they sell out. So add it to your cart and place your order!!

I'm 28. Growing up using words like Ray Tracing and UHDR would've sounded like Unobtainable Gibberish. A far distant dream. I Am here to announce this computer is a machine from the absolute future even by modern day standards. I managed to snag it for $1399 on black Friday and I couldn't be happier. I'm pulling in over 120 fps on my new 144hz Dell 27 Gaming Monitor: S2716DG. 2k Resolution that has G-sync enabled as well. I would've reviewed this on a 4k UHDR monitor but they're $1000 right now. If any one wants to sponsor my streaming adventures You can do so by going to twitch.tv/c7outgaming :]. Happy Holidays and Good luck finding a better Value then this absolute power house.
Only problem I'm experiencing is one of the fans isn't running currently but i'm going to have to contact the insurance or Best buy's tech support to resolve this.

Great pre-built system

I purchased their gaming pc BB973 from BestBuy. I've built approximately 10 PCs but this is the first time to purchase a pre-built. I had my concerns, but after picking comparable parts online (and due to inventory issues caused by COVID19) I found that the overall cost was practically the same.
PROS - System was securely packed both on the outside AND inside for shipping. It booted up properly on the first try and I was up in running no time. Performance of the system is as expected based on the parts supplied. I got a system with the ASRock Phantom Gaming 4s motherboard, Adata memory, and a Gigabyte video card which are reputable names. Liquid AIO with push/pull config and plenty of fans included. When properly configured (*See Cons) the system runs cool and quiet.
CONS - If I had built a PC myself, I wouldn't have included LED anything - it's just not my thing. But since I couldn't be that picky with this system and it can be turned off, I decided to take a chance. So with that said, I'm not familiar with LED fans or anything. I found that these are powered by molex or 3 pin so their fan speed cannot be controlled and then a separate cable for the LEDs. There's then a separate cable for the LEDs. I also had re-arrange and then re-tidy the cables because the AIO pump and push CPU fan were connected to the wrong headers (I'm not going to go into details) which resulted in the system running hot (idling in the 50's and highs in low 80's celsius). Once this was corrected I idle at 30 and highest at 67 C.
OVERALL - Despite the fact that I had to make some minor corrections to the fan/pump connections (and let's face it I kinda liked it haha I felt guilty for getting a pre-built), this system very reasonably priced for what you are getting IMO. You could easily upgrade this system with a nvme m.2 ssd and upgrade the RAM (use the RAM to speed up the nvme ssd!) which are probably the simplest upgrades you could do regardless. I hope this review is helpful and goodluck!

Great PC after testing it for one week

I normally build my PC's but with work and having less time and more money, I decided to just get this pre-build and am completely satisfied.
First off, I researched every mainstream gaming PC out there. This is one of the best values for a 2080 SUPER computer on the web. One thing I wish I knew was what brand parts are in this, but you don't know until you get it. After getting it and seeing the parts, I did the calculations and paid about a $300 premium on the specific PC I got. You pay a much higher premium when you go for brands such as Alienware and Razer. In the end though, it's a computer with the same parts. The cheap part with this PC is the motherboard. It's a cheap ASROCK Z390 4s-ib. It does the job, but if you want to upgrade from an i7-9700k CPU, you need a better motherboard.
The actual PC build quality is great. The cable management was done better than I could've done. All the RGB lighting works. After opening it up, it looks organized and beautiful --- According to other reviewers, this isn't always the case. Do your research, know what you're getting yourself into, and choose to accept or decline the risks.
I'm not going deep into framerates, but I'll say I bought a game called Kingdom Come: Deliverance after seeing how graphics intense it was and I was getting 60 fps on max settings at 1440p, which means it can more than handle every other game out also.
I will update this review overtime and will be glad to respond to questions because I know I had a lot before buying this.

Great high end gaming machine pre-built

I was looking to upgrade my PC to be able to play the latest high end VR titles, but didn't have the time to build one myself. I came across this machine and it looked like a great value considering all of the power it provides. I ordered it and it was delivered the next day and I've been very happy with the purchase.
Pros:
- High end, attractive looking gaming PC right out of the box with quality components. It handles anything I can throw at it on max graphics in 1440p.
- Fast delivery and excellent packing. Form fitting, expanding packaging inside of the case to make sure none of the inside components break or move around.
- Great value in component costs compared to building yourself
- Open M.2 slot for adding faster storage
Cons:
- My build still needed some tinkering as multiple RGB connectors came un-done in shipping causing some of the fan lights not to work. This was a simple fix, but requires you to have some knowledge of what you are doing.
- They use a proprietary version of the ASRock Z390 Phantom 4s motherboard, so you have to rely on iBUYPOWER for firmware.
- The ASRock polychrome software to change the lighting didn't work for me at all. It would lock the PC up and eventually throw an error. This apparently is a common thing, so I had to try different versions, flash different firmwares until it finally worked. I grabbed the version from the iBUYPOWER website and used that. It was different than the one pre-installed on the machine.
- Missing some modern ports like usb-c or thunderbolt. There is a thunderbolt header on the board, so you can add in a card to give you those ports though.
Really all of the cons are just minor inconveniences or can be addressed with upgrading or adding some components, so there is room for you to still tinker and make this system your own. Even right out of the box it is rock solid and will give you all the power you need to handle any workload.

I bought this for gaming and I'm very happy with it. My old computer took about 5 minuets to fully load WOW this computer in about a minuet. Great graphics and sound. Very happy.
I would give the quality an excellent, however the first one I got the motherboard was bad, took it back to BestBuy no issues with the return and ordering a new one. The replacement works great.

I decided to dive into PC gaming with a new desktop, primarily play on PS4. I did some research into whether I should build my own or a pre-build and decided to grab this build from iBUYPOWER as the specs seemed to be pretty close to what I was looking for. Early impressions are fantastic. Runs smooth, quiet as can be thanks to the liquid cooling, and with the RTX 2080 Super all of the games I play run with zero issue on the highest settings. Overall I could not be happier with my purchase and would recommend to a friend looking to buy a new rig.

I decided to get a pre-built this time, because I needed everything, but I didn't feel like dealing with it. I've made some stupid mistakes in the past.
Pros: So far this computer has exceeded all expectations. I'm getting 120FPS at all times in Archeage with everything at max settings and no more crashing. Very Silent and cool. I can't even hear it at night and it doesn't heat up my room as much as my old computer did. Lights are neat, but I turned them off. The case is very high quality, good cable management, though there's no reason for me to touch it. They installed a water-cooling block on the CPU. I got this on a sale for $200 off.
Cons: The included keyboard and mouse, while completely functional, are a complete joke, like something you would find in a happy meal. The installed software consists of Windows 10 Home and nothing else; I had to upgrade it to Professional for $99 to use VM, bitlocker, group policy, and RDP.
Other: I had to exchange this once because the SSD failed in the first 5 days, but the new one has worked perfectly for 7 months. I don't know anything about NVME storage, but this doesn't have one and I just imagine that will/should be a standard component in future models.

This is a review after 3 months of usage with this product.
I have been researching for a computer that can handle heavy usage of Adobe Pro video editing for 4k videos. This computer is top-notch in handling the job while being able to run multiple programs. It's also an amazing set up for gaming on the highest settings. I haven't had any issue in speed despite the multiple programs I have opened. The graphic cards if paired with the right monitor shows an amazing spec of imagery. It comes with a keyboard and a mouse that lights up and matches the system unit hence the entire content gives a sleek, amazing, and awesome look.
The packaging was excellent, it had foams outside and inside the system, unit to protect the external and internal contents. There were plastic films all around. The wires were secured tight and all of the connections were connected. I did a 360 detailed inspection and everything was in excellent condition.
The set up is easy as it is an on-screen follow-up instruction. No need to install the hard drive, or the system software.
I haven't had any issues for the last three months. I highly suggest this computer! Great investment.

Bought the BB973 model desktop and I'm very happy with my purchase. Comes with a beast of a GPU and an overclocked i7-9th gen. Manufacturer claims this model is very easy to upgrade, especially RAM and extra SSDs (the only downside is the somewhat disappointing 500 GB, but that's understandable with all the other super high quality parts). Speaking of the parts used, iBUYPOWER does not use any specific brand for most of this PC's parts, as they use what they have in stock, but as previously mentioned, they are all high quality. Got it on sale for $1599, but keep an eye out for a possible $1499 deal on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. One of the memory sticks wasn't fully in place when I first started the PC, but that was likely due to getting snagged when I removed the foam packaging. It was an easy 30 second fix, but I have a Geek Squad protection plan and let them handle it just to be safe. All in all, good quality for your money, easily upgradable, and looks very nice as well!

Went through two other brands which were Alienware and HP Omen and out of the three this was the best prebuild. Frametimes are great. Performance is good for the specs. The only thing that could be better is the motherboard itself. Not able to Overclock RAM past 3200mhz. Caused pc to not start up but you can easily just go back to bios and turn it back down. Also if you want to achieve higher clock speeds for the cpu I would recommend getting a better cooler. I was only able to reach 4.6 ghz without it getting insanely hot but still a little warm. If you’re not planning to Overclock this is perfect for you, other than that the pc is perfect for if you want to play games at 144fps and up. I was able to reach 200fps on cod mw and 240fps on overwatch.

After owning my ASUS ROG gaming laptop for years, I decided to upgrade to this, since I have little knowledge regarding how to build my own pc.
I’ve had this pc for about 2-3 weeks now, and it is simply amazing! The graphics and performance are top notch and very response.
Even playing demanding games at maxed out settings, my frame rate is reaching 120-200 FPS.
The only reason I give it 4 stars is because when I inboxed it, I had to readjust the motherboard this way the connections would align with the panel. Also, the RGB on the water cooling isn’t turning on... it a big deal to me, but it would be nice to have. Still working on getting that to be operable.
Other than that, beast of a machine! Especially for someone who streams!

I think this is a fantastic build! A core i7-9700K combined with a 2080 SUPER means that you're getting lightning speed response times, and fantastic performance out of this machine. With the discounted price of $1550 that I bought this machine at, I couldn't be more impressed with the value I am getting. Building-Your-Own is often touted as being the end all be all for gaming but this pre-built begs to differ!
The only qualm I had with this machine is that upon boot only one of the front panel fans has its RGB functioning. This can be solved by replugging in their connections.

Recently bought the set up. Everything works fine, with no issues. Out of the box one of the RGB lights from one of the fans was disconnected, no big deal to reconnect it, could have happened during shipping.
Inspect your case carefully, the first one i got had the tempered glass side panel chipped on the bottom, which was hard to notice, in fact I noticed it only after I had finished setting up the system. Unfortunately, BB will not replace the panel, only (really wanted to keep the GPU from the first unit :) ). They had replaced the entire unit, there was no hassle, BB easily swapped the units, so thumbs up to them.
For anyone wondering these are are brands from my first and second unit, there is no way you can select the components, just whatever is in the box:
1. CPU: i7-9700k + liquid cooling
Mobo: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4s-ib
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Super (the one with 3 fans)
MEMORY: 2 x ADATA XPG 8 gb DDR4-3000 (no LEDs)
Storage: ADATA SSD 480 Gb (NOT M2 and/or NVMe) + Seagate 1tb
PSU: 650W 80 plus gold power supply
2. CPU: i7-9700k + liquid cooling
Mobo: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4s-ib
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Super (2 fans)
MEMORY: 2 x ADATA XPG 8 gb DDR4-3000 (no LEDs)
Storage: ADATA SSD 480 Gb (NOT M2 and/or NVMe) + Seagate 1tb
PSU: 650W 80 plus gold power supply
I had the chance to glance at another build which had an identical mobo and CPU with cooler, however, it had an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super (blower-1 fan).
All for all amazing deal, love it! thanks iBP and BB.

Honestly my first pre build and for the price of individual components/ availability of parts right now this was a great deal. I have no issues running different programs. Currently grinding apex legends at 1080p over 165 fps and at1440p at about 130 fps. call of duty being about the same story. This system kills AAA titles. I see allot of people having issues with motherboard alignment with the slots in the back and luckily I didn't have that issue. My build came with the asus gpu and even has an rgb strip on the face of the card.

Negative: The picture isn't one-for-one what you're going to get in terms of internal components. The CPU fan is actually closed loop water cooled (this is probably better overall anyways), and the graphics card physically doesn't look the same as pictured. In the picture it looks like an MSI card... in reality it's a seemingly non branded card (blower style). Last negative would be the fact that I just bought it 2 days ago and it has a red DRAM 1 LED lit on the motherboard.
Positive: So far this has been able to easily handle anything and everything I throw at it at max settings without breaking too much of a sweat. It looks decent with the glass on the front and side, and remains adequately cool with custom fan settings.
If you're on the fence just go check it out in person, regardless this is an incredible deal and will surely give you years of great performance if treated properly. Just going to have to talk to ibuypower about the minor issues I'm having and hopefully they'll work with me to resolve them.

Hello,
Apologies, the product image was not correct the first time around and was supposed to picture a liquid cooler but instead had a fan. We use a variety of brands for our graphics cards depending on what we have in stock, so not every system will have the same brand graphics card. We're also sorry to hear that your DRAM LED is lit, please contact our technical support and they will be able to help you fix that. We are glad you still enjoy the system!
