Besides the drastic price increases during the holidays, I’d say that this is a pretty solid system. PROS 1) RTX 2080 Super Graphics Card. 2) SSD as the boot drive. 3) Tempered glass case. 4) Three intake fans. 5) Closed loop CPU water cooler. CONS 1) Back motherboard port cover was not installed properly. The tiny fingers separating the USB ports were bent into the ports from installing it before the motherboard. 2) Only 16Gb of RAM. I would’ve expected 32Gb for a $1,800 system. 3) Call of Duty Modern Warfare lags when on WiFi. I have to plug directly into the router when playing online. 4) The RGB instructions mention a remote, but I guess it’s not included. iBuyPower totally ignored me when I asked about it. 5) Keyboard is pretty much flat especially when pulling out the tabs. It was hard to play Modern Warfare with the provided keyboard and so I reverted back to my Logitech. 6) Matching RAM is hard to find (i.e. the same manufacturer and model as the ones that come with the system) In terms of functionality I give this PC 4-stars, but it could be better. I will probably drop another $200 on 32Gb of RAM.

I changed from an Nvidia 770M laptop, and I can tell you, it was worth it. Been playing Anthem, Battlefield 5 & Halo MCC flawlessly at max settings. Unfortunately my fps have been topped at 60 since I have a 60Hz monitor, but that will change soon. 5/5 would recommend to a friend. P.D. It is true that the USB ports came slightly dissalligned, but that was due to the foam they use to protect the components during transport, nothing I couldn't fix.

Amazing deal during Black Friday - $1499.99. Could not beat that deal considering the components inside this PC. Picked up at a local store and have had no issues with the PC. Quick setup, runs all my games in HIGH settings, runs quiet, and the RGB is nice. I do not care much about aesthetics, but my wife does, and was amazed at how nice this desktop looks. Would certainly recommend this desktop - especially for the Black Friday price.

Excellent looking and performing build. The next generation with the i7 10700k comment lake it the same price right now. In November 2020. Get that one. It's the same besides the better processor. Mine also came with a hole in the box and a dent in the case. The side the motherboard is on. Right where the gpu is attached. Everything seems to work fine. Just thought it worth mentioning if buying pc's shipped to your house. Anyways. Runs games nicely at around 60 to 90 fps on a 144hz 27 inch 1ms curved minister with another 24in 75hz 4ms 1080p monitor. To monitor the gpu and cpu temp on the monitor. While playing games like red dead redemption 2. On the 27 inch monitor. Still stays relatively cool, 75 83°C for cpu with a lot of over clocking and the gpu stay perfect at about 65°C max. That is also overclocked worth msi afterburner. Now I just need more storage. Check the motherboards website for compatable M.2 NVme pci x4 SSD's apparently they don't all work. This is news to me. But I'm glad I found out. I added an outtake fan to the top. There is room for 2. Seems to help with keeping it cool. I didn't really thi j it would do much. Blowing air in didn't help. The way I originally tried it and ran a bunch of benchmarks. Then switched it to an outtake fan, and got higher benchmark rating with less effort. Great pc.

We just switched to a desktop after having a gaming laptop for years. After a lot of research, we decided to go with this computer and we're glad we did! This computer is very good quality. It runs smoothly, and the graphics are amazing. I love how the desktop itself, the keyboard, and the mouse all light up. So far the games we've played have been looking great and we look forward to playing more!

Scored a great early Black Friday deal on this PC, Specs Included: Intel i7 9700K (Liquid Cooled), RTX 2080 Super, and 16 GB RAM for $1,500. PC was built with quality components, I could not have built a PC for this cost! I've had this PC now for a few weeks and have encountered zero issues. Overall a great purchase!

I had another Ibuypower gamer, I was looking to see all the huge improvements after 6 years with the old one. RGB lighting effects are awesome, the graphics card is amazing too, even thou I put in the old machine NVIDIA RTX 2070 super! water cooled CPU, This machine is super fast and highly capable, super quiet. I love how quickly it boots because of its SSD. I would highly recommend.

I get really good frames in fortnite but I play on low settings and I get around 240 FPS consistent but it can handle more this computer is a beast definitely recommend for a higher end pc player

Awesome gaming computer! Overall the user benchmark clocks the build as running better than 65% of computers with the same components. The GTX 2080 super is the best card you can get for less than $1000. The i7-9700k can handle everything you need to do and more. Games run everything on ultra at 4k resolution with at least 60fps. I also use it for VR and it allows you to super sample while keeping 80fps. The case itself is very nice. Smaller than a full case but not a form factor, so you can upgrade easily with normal parts. The cable management is professionally done leaving a great view from the tempered class display panel. The LED ights are a nice accent, and you dont have to worry about them heating your case up because the cpu is water cooled, and there are 3 intake fans in the front and one large exhaust fan in the back. It also runs very quietly. If I had to point out any negatives it would be the 2012 Western Blue 1 TB harddrive it comes with. I have not had great experiences with lower end Western Digital devices. It also makes more sense to have a bigger SSD rather than a HDD that spins at 7200 rpm. This is an easy upgrade for the future though. Overall, 5 stars. If you need a computer that will last at least 4-5 years, while playing any game that comes out, this is a good choice.

Amazing prebuilt PC for the price

I'm usually skeptical of pre-built PCs due to the price not matching the cost of the hardware, but this model in particular was very hard to pass up. I received the PC in two days shipping, and with no scuffs or anything from the process. The cable management in the PC is superb, and very well done. I was afraid of even snipping the zip-ties to put in my spare SSD because of how neat it is. The hardware and performance is what you expect when you buy this model. The PC blows nearly every game you can throw at it out of the water. Ultra settings, Consistent 60 FPS or always higher on everything I can throw at it. Fans are quiet, the RGBs are toggable if you don't like them or want to change their colors. Runs relatively cool at all times. Windows sets up with not much effort, and what surprised me is there no bloatware on the install. I expected a bunch of bundled software I would have been uninstalling, but nothing. The only issue I have with it is the USB header at the top of the case isn't a snug fit and it can be very finicky. Not a huge issue what so ever though.

I purchased this PC, back in January of 2020, after two months in, I am still very satisfied with the purchase of this product. This was my dive into PC gaming, and have no experience building my own rig, nor did I want to risk messing one up. Overall, I have very few negative things to say about this product, and the positives outweigh it. When I started the computer for the first time windows was booting from the wrong HDD. This was corrected by going into the BIOS. Also the keyboard and mouse were pretty cheap, with no rubber mounts at the bottom of the keyboard to stop it from moving around when using it. I upgraded it same day along with the mouse. I also plan on upgrading the power supply down the road, but to start it isn't an issue. As for the positives. I am very impressed with the quality and value of the build. When I priced out the parts that appear in the build on newegg, I came up with $1,750 (est including windows). This is very reasonable for what the system comes with, and the convenience of not having to worry about assembling it. Also the cable management is very professional. I was worried once I open the case it wouldn't be able to put it back on. I am very satisfied with this purchase, hopefully I wont need to upgrade for a long time! I would give this a 4.5 out of five.

My ears are the first to be thankful. The 2080 asus turbo in the pc I had prior to this was so loud it could be heard from outside the room I had it in. So the MSI 2080 super was a huge difference in my opinion. The only downfall compared to the other pc is the lack of usb plugs a swappable SSD and a small card reader for photos. I’m please with the overall wire management tho compared to the Asus that had rainbow wires. They black wires looks much better. The cases air flow seems to be an issue with the front panel only having 2 slots cut out. The WiFi antenna out of the back makes me feel as if I’m using a rabbit ears. Takes away from the overall look of the product. Overall I’m very happy to have paid 50 dollars less for a much better product that is so much quieter.

Great Computer for Gaming or Video

This PC is a great workstation, the only regret I have is that I didn't go with a Ryzen 3900X Processor. That being said I could not find a deal close to this one, this computer is capable of being even faster with overclocking on both the GPU and CPU, so if you ever find yourself bottlenecked (unlikely even in 4k) you can increase the performance by at least another 10 percent with relative ease. I had some issues with the computer initially, however I just sent it back to the manufacturer and it's running perfectly now. I can't think of anything else I'd really want in a computer, I won't have to upgrade for the foreseeable future. If you're on the fence and you don't need heavy multi-core or multi-threaded workstation performance this is a great computer. That being said it will still deliver even in that environment and will do it better for the price than anything else I could find on the market.

Bought this at 1450$ about a year ago, the first one wouldn't turn off and kept restarting but it ran normally. Got the second one, had to switch cases + cooling because motherboard kept beeping at me from the CPU getting too hot. I remember pulling the CPU temps when I first got it and they would always be in the 90s under load, it's only a 120mm AIO that cools it so I guess you can't expect too much but with the motherboard frantically beeping at me I would say it definitely needs an improvement there. The case looks pretty and so does the RGB, but the front intake only had a zig zag in the middle where it could breathe and filter intakes on the side of the front intake. You can see where the corners were cut to make this hardware this price from a pre-built. The motherboard isn't the greatest (Asrock z390 phantom gaming 4s) with limited headers for whatever expansions you may want and as far as I know, doesn't let you overclock your CPU through standard means. A non-modular power supply, which really isn't an issue if you want to keep everything in this PC how it is, but with how the CPU temperatures are under load from gaming, I would not suggest keeping it the way it is. The SSD isn't an nvme, but it's still a relatively fast SSD but along with the HDD they were from a manufacturer I have never heard of, and probably for a good reason but I don't know, I'm no PC genie. Here is the advice you might not want to hear if you're looking for a pre-built, BUILD YOUR OWN! I'm extremely clumsy, very impatient and not very intelligent, I had no experience building a PC and my friends weren't much help but, honestly it wasn't very difficult and if I would've done so initially, I could've saved a good sum of money for an upgrade and the PC feels a lot more personal now. PERFORMANCE: Other than the overheating CPU, I would say the computer is still pretty good. I mean a 2080 super and an i7-9700 paired together has awesome performance (1440p, 100FPS on modern titles) but in this case with insufficient cooling, I simply can't recommend it.

MY PC has been plagued with the same issue that many of complained about here. The rear backplate was unaligned causing every port on the machine to be useless. I am contemplating just remounting the motherboard myself to solve the issue, but why should I even have to do this? I could also set up an exchange, but such a hassle. It's a shame that so many people are spending $1800-1500 on this rig and it isn't perfect. I could understand if this was a one off issue, but from the sounds of it, it is very common. It's a shame to have the excitement of a brand new computer dulled by it not working 100% out of the box. Otherwise it seems to be a pretty solid computer. ibuypower NEEDS to get to the bottom of this issue ASAP and correct it before more customers have this poor experience because it's effecting both IBP and Best Buy (and it's not Best Buy's fault) negatively.

I purchased this desktop during the Black Friday promotion for $1499.99, and overall I'm satisfied with the value. What was in my build: i7-9700k+layered 120mm AIO liquid cooler asrock z390 phantom gaming 4s-ib Gigabyte RTX 2080 SUPER Windforce (3fans) XPG GAMMIX D10 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3000 ADATA SSD 480 Gb (NOT M2 and/or NVMe) + Seagate 1tb 650W 80 plus gold power supply Pros: Out of the box I had no issues with setup, the machine was well packed and was received undamaged, with all connections secure, I was able to plug in and boot immediately. This machine is a beast, and so far I've been able to play any AAA title on max settings smooth as butter. For the Black Friday price you couldn't build this machine, unless you cut corners on the build. I had everything in my cart to build a similar machine, but with the RTX 2060 S, it was nearly the same price as this build. Cons: During the first 24 hours I noticed the CPU was running hot, with idle temps around 40c and temps in the mid 80s under load, much higher than I would expect for a liquid cooled, not OC'd system, after re-configuring the bios (front fans were set up to monitor mobo temp, which never exceeded 35c) I was able to get more stable temperatures in the mid to high 70s, but with peaks as high as 93c. After reseating the AOI cooler with new Arctic Silver I'm now gaming comfortably between 65c and 70c, with a peak of 75c. It's worth noting that during all of this my GPU never exceeded 70c iBUYPOWER Customer support was solid, though a bit slow to respond initially, I'll cut some slack for the holiday season, the RMA process had I chosen to go that was seemed straight forward. Coil whine: While my RTX 2080 S is not terribly loud, it's worth noting that most of these big cards emit some kind of coil whine under load, expected, and not a big deal as I game with a headset but if you're noise sensitive it's worth noting. Conclusion: I think this is a solid build, that you would be hard pressed to build on your own for the price, but it's worth noting that you can't buy a machine like that and not expect to need to get inside, and get to know the parts at one point or another, would recommend to anyone with basic gaming pc knowledge .

I got it on sale because I was in need of a new pc or I would have had to put in a lot of money to keep the old pc up to the task of modern games. Worked out of the box and exceeded my expectations in the performance department. This is my first pc with a NVIDIA card, and I love it! Owned for a little over a day and that time has almost all been spent gaming on it. The most noticeable thing for me is there is no stuttering. My old pc was running an i7 & RX 580 and it would stutter a ton in open world games. The simplicity of buying it, getting it shipped overnight for no extra charge, and setting it up without messing with any internal parts or worrying about compatibility of the parts makes it worth it for a full time student like me. I needed a quick upgrade, and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

I purchased this Gaming PC after a long search of a reliable computers that can play at the higher frame rate on a certain game, Fortnite in special. Arrived very fast, no damage on the box neither inside. So easy to unpack, and easy to setup. Cable management inside the computer is great and came as standard included in price. Also, a foam protector for the graphic card and pretty much for everything inside was included. After updating couple of drivers, everything runs smooth and quiet. Playing my favorite game Fortnite, a big change from a PS4 PRO to this machine, thanks to the Intel processor and Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super, all those that gave me easily 240 FPS stable on any game. Thank you IBuyPower for making this machine, it looks good and plays great!
