Poor customer service and poor product

BTW they kept stating 3rd in the que, thanks for holding. Second time, as I type this review I have been on hold for 68 min. While on hold, using my home phone, I tried calling Best Buy to see if they could offer up assistance. No go. I did not purchase the warranty from them. I also waited on hold for 20 min with BB before I called them back and finally got through the Geek Squad line. They obviously thought I was buying services. They would not allow me to speak with a manager. Claimed the manager could not help me since I did not purchase Warranty through Geek Squad. Am I out of touch with reality? Is customer service rally come to this nowadays? PC problems. Purchased PC 5 months ago. I have used it less than 5 times. PC will not stay on. Based on my general knowledge of a PC (and other research on this brand), I have come to the hypothesis the power supply is bad. The motherboard is throwing a code, however I have no idea what it means. I assume bad power supply. It sure would be nice if Best Buy would stand behind the products they sell without forcing you to purchase the insurance. Or at least hold the suppliers accountable. Conclusion: Buy online. The store fronts provide very little value nowadays. Stay away from IBUYPOWER. Horrible customer service and do not stand behind their products. At least that is my assumption since they do not answer the phone. As for Best Buy…well I’ll hold my opinion since they will probably not post this and delete it. Respectfully Sad Best Buy Customer

Not Worth the $

The workmanship, which was touted to be "Made In America". In my CPU the USB ports were not aligned correctly, making insertion difficult. Additionally, the keyboard had at least six keys which did not work. I have purchased numerous computers over the years and this is by far the worst computer I have ever had the owned. I would recommend Any other computer over an Ibuypower.

We are sorry to hear your computer came with several issues. Our systems are all manufactured in California, but unfortunately some ship out with issues that our production team misses. If you return the system to the Best Buy you got it from, they will be happy to give you a new one!

Lcd from tower not working

Defective all around

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was waiting all day for this and when it finally came I was really excited but when I connected it to the monitor nothing displayed, (this is really common). Since this was common I tried reaseating some parts like the videos on their YouTube channel and still nothing. Made sure it wasn’t the monitor buy plugging my switch and that worked, so that wasn’t the problem. Also the power button barely worked, had to press it couple of times to turn on and would have to hold it to shut it down. Very heartbreaking experience. Luck is required for this to work and I didn’t have it. Getting a gaming laptop instead. Good luck to you if you buy it. Wouldn’t recommend.

First challenge is the only HDMI is for the LED on the system. No problem, I went out and got an something so I could connect to my monitor. Now I am ready. Unboxed, checked all cables and made sure everything was seated. Looks good. Plugged in the keyboard, mouse, monitor and power cable ... nothing. Tried another power cord and a different wall outlet ... nothing. Checked cabling again and made sure everything is seated ... nothing. Very disappointing! I should mention that the back plate had some old glue from a previous sticker on it .. obvious it was a returned system (or at least a part) Returning it tomorrow.

Just terrible

Also one of the fan not running as well.

CPU goes bad after 8 months

Now, I can not get it back on. Now I am expected to open it up and mess with all the cables and wires? For the price I paid, I did not expect to have to do this. Next time I'm getting a Dell.

Cheap parts

How??? I am definitely returning this Parts are cheap the fans and overall looks cheap parts power supply is not 80plus certified its a cheap psu The ram stick are cheap as well they don't specify what brand but thats okay They buy cheap parts and only put the main good components, for 2k, you can build one better

Very bad experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After figuring out what company to purchase a new pc with and waiting for PC to come in, the display ports and HDMI ports were bent, pc did not work nor connect to monitors, led screen was upside down, and wires weren’t connected very disappointed in Best Buy, had to take it back the same day hopefully the new one that comes in will be fully functional and not damaged

Took it home and went through setup process. Took the potatoe off the back ports and they were all out of wack from fall damage. They are accepting return today and claim they never released it damaged and also can’t get me another because it sold out again. I’m sure the pc is amazing but I wouldn’t know..

The air cooler we use in this system is very high quality, and provides adequate cooling for the system. It is a common misconception that liquid cooling is always better than air cooling, unless you are using a customer loop.
