    Received PC Broken

Have to get pc repaired because when I got the pc in there was no package packing inside of case so there were broke internals. It’s not Best Buy’s fault because they get it straight from ibuypower. But still waited a month to get it and I received it broken.

Got one of their prebuilt computers as an early Christmas gift from my mom, I'm in love with it from head to toe, looks great and the leds are so pretty in the dark. It was very easy to set up with my monitor and in all took about 20-30 mins before I had created my account and signed it, runs the games I like to play very well and so far I haven't had any issues with lag (Roblox, Brawlhalla etc.). I tried downloading Watch Dogs 2 while playing a game and still had no problems with lag. 100% would recommend for any of my friends who want to get a gaming computer but don't know where to start!

      Hello,

This may be because of your internet, not because of the product. We recommend using ethernet as well on our computers, instead of WIfi, as it allows for a stronger, faster connection. ibp-AW

    New to PC, BB991R

"Background story, I'm 30 years old, used to play RS, Halo and BF 1943 on a lousy old dell. Since, I've purchased and played Xbox. I owned and own Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox One X. I am drawn to PC streamers, as their content is much more appealing, and much more immersive, as far as gameplay is concerned. It was my dream to have a PC, Since I was 20. I never thought I'd get one. I now have two kids, and that made my dream even more distant. When I opened this present up, I literally cried For Christmas, my fiancé and my family teamed up and got me an iBuypower PC. I didn't know what brand it was. I thought it was a Bluetooth speaker at first. Turns out it was a pre-built PC, which by the way, totally helps me because I'm lacking PC knowledge and terminology. My brother had consulted with one of my best friends (who live a few states away, and doesn't play console anymore, so we never play together) knew that it'd be a good entry level PC, but also knew it wouldn't achieve the specs that are necessary for most FPS games, unless at a low graphic level. He knew it would need some upgrading. He was adamant though, it was a great entry PC. A day after I got home, I set it up. I don't know a lick about PCs, and it took just a few minutes. With my lack of knowledge, I downloaded a couple of games, Siege and Pubg. After the purchases of the games, and while they were downloading, my friend told me that he was concerned that my PC wouldn't run very stable on either. I'm a 5 year Siege Xbox player and have played Pubg since it's console release. (Side point, I was bummed about Ubi's transfer policies, can't get my Glaciers and Elite skins.) After a few hours and YouTube videos, I was able to get my PC to run Siege like I see it on the streams and with the pros, but at 144hz with medium+ settings. When I got Pubg going, it also took some time, but I got that running better than I thought (after my buddy's concern). Now I'm getting 90 FPS, on Pubg.I can't explain how surprised my friend was. He has built his PC from scratch, and he truly thought I'd have to go bare minimum with my set up. Nope. This PC is incredible for an entry level. I've been considering Escape From Tarkov, which this PC can handle, but to make sure I get the full experience, I'm going to add some SSD (which isn't bank breaking btw). Sure, I could use some update, but I can play some of the best FPS games out there right away. This is easily 5/5. It's literally plug and play. I'm not one who cares much about the physical appearance of the PC, but I've gotten compliments from everyone. My son, my father in-law (to be) and a few cousins. I have an LG 144hz 24" Ultragear 1080 monitor. It's incredible. When I finally found the sweet spot on PC for Siege, I was absolutely elated. I can finally play the game like all of my favorite Streamers. As far as expandability goes, it's unlimited. The case comes with all of the expansion options you need. I haven't tried streaming, which is almost every gamers dream growing up. I did stream direct through Steam to my buddy, and it didn't affect my frames. Oh, quick note by the way, my Christmas tree is set up by my router, so I'm on WiFi right now. Granted it's 250+ MBPS, so I'd expect the internet is fine, but the WiFi receivers on the unit are legit. My final note here, I've had this PC set up for four days, and I'm already in love with it. I could use some more SSD space, I could also use some RAM, but while I'm saving up some money for that, I can play some of the best games out there without a hitch. The best! Big win! Great PC. Don't need to upgrade, but excited to."

A Good System with Misleading Specs & Description

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Let me get the good stuff out of the way first. 1. The Specs are misleading on the Best Buy Webpage. The PC has 4 Memory Slots and also comes with a 1 TB HDD that is completely empty. 2. The Computer is super quiet and boots up relatively fast right out the box. 3. The Lights are cool but can be slightly annoying at times. 4. A Mid-range Gaming PC for under 600 dollars (579 Black Friday Deal) is an absolute steal. There are some things that buyers need to be aware of. 1. There doesn't appear to be a coherant Quick Start guide. The Guide that comes wth it assums that you are building your PC. This thing is ready to go right out of the box. So it was pretty confusing where I was looking for a Foam Insert and it not being in the unit at all. 2. THERE IS NO OPTICAL DRIVE. Despite there being a CD bundled in the package and a Drive appearing in the QuickStart Guide there is no Drive or anywhere to put a CD/DVD/BluRay drive. This may be no problem if you just download everything. 3. There is a bunch of empty space in the unit. From the Description this thing is supposed to be able to support two 3.5 drives and two 2.5 drives but there doesn't appear to be any brackets or holders in the main chassis from what I can tell. Instead, the drives are stored on the Right Side panel at the base of the machine and are packed in super tight. 4. There is an unclosable gap of about an inch directly to the left of the Graphics Card. There are several mesh coverings to allow for airflow but I'm not sure why this gap was left in since there is no way to cover it outside of possibly putting tape over it. I would give this tower an Excellent rating for the price that I paid for it alone but there are just too many gripes that added to my confusion when I got it that I had to take away a star. Granted I was plesantly surprised to actually have an additional 1T HDD and 4 RAM slots instead of 2 but this made me second guess this particular unit before I purchased it. Also the lack of an Optical Drive as well as confusing instructions and a random dust entry way gap are nitpicks but I can see upsetting others like myself.

After purchasing a much more expensive computer and it never functioning, this has been an improvement so far for less money. Easy to set up. Flashy lights, flashy keyboard, flashy mouse. What more could you ask for? Apparently for other brands, that's too much. This one so far does as advertised. I will sing its praises to the highest geek gods if she survives past the weekend. At least she's pretty.
