Buyer beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased an ibuypower computer in December 2022 and it has performed well until November 2023 when the motherboard failed. The computer was still under warranty, yay, right? WRONG. Best Buy would not (could not?) honor the warranty as I didn’t buy the Geek Plan protection from them when I bought the computer. They told me My only option was to contact Ibuypower for warranty. So I did. They gave me 3 options, send the computer in to them (at my cost for shipping) and it would take 2+ weeks. Option 2 was to remove the motherboard and mail it into them, or option 3 was for me to put a deposit on a replacement motherboard, they would ship it and then I could replace it and ship it back to them. I would then get my deposit back once they verified the MB was bad. I went with option 3. I paid the deposit on 11/2/2023. Today is 11/23/2023 and they have yet to ship the replacement to me. I have emailed and called numerous times and get the round about, saying it is out of their control, it is in shippings hands, etc. they tel me they are doing everything they can and are pushing them to ship, but nothing happens. I will never, ever do business with this company again.

Poor wifi attennas
