Bestbuy.com customer service is awful so hopefully you don’t have to use them! Great Pc and runs amazingly! The rgb is dope! The mouse and keyboard are not great but you can get better ones!

Amazing intermediate PC

Plugged it in and it started right up! Only problem I had was getting the RGB fans to light up. I’ve done everything possible and they still won’t light up. Other than that, it’s been an amazing PC and GPU and CPU temps stay in the mid to high 50’s under load and low 40’s idling at Home Screen.

Got this for my son for his birthday. Out of the box, after doing the normal windows updates and checking for software driver updates the problems began: 1), All his games crashed like 10 mins in. (Rust, Insurgency Sandstorm, Escape from Tarkov, War Thunder) 2) installed GeForce game ready drivers, no luck. 3) Did a complete windows reset. no luck. 4) Started having errors pop up regarding AMD drivers not present or not working, advising us to download and install? This was not the experience we were paying for. Took it back to Best Buy for an exchange. Moved $200 up to get a system with 3070 card and wow, what a much improved experience. Everything about the Alienware seemed faster and much more stable. It even had the NVIDIA control software pre-installed. What a relief! Thanks Best Buy, for the seamless exchange!

Components ran smoothly, until they didn't

Setting up the PC was easy, boot up times were fast, games ran smoothly (played Overwatch, SWTOR, Siege, New World). However, as others have mentioned, there's a cooling issue. I ran a program to track the temperatures of the GPU and CPU, and noticed that the CPU would stay at 72 degrees Celsius or higher when playing any games and the GPU would be in the 60s-70s. After a week's worth of light to normal use, my PC shut down while playing a game. I go to try to turn it back on, lights flash on, then stay off and will not turn back on. I assume the CPU overheated, affected the motherboard. I advise anyone that is looking to get this PC, to replace the CPU cooler. If you're looking to get this, plug and play and not install any new components, don't.

Nimble PC, used almost entirely for gaming

Works great. Fan is a little noisy but part of that is because we have it up on the desk vs under it. It looks too cool to stick on the floor! Paired with a 25 in Alienware monitor = sweet gaming set up. Included keyboard and mouse were surprisingly decent as well.
