Too hot to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought the PC with the specifications was a great deal as a Xmas gift for my son. Unfortunately he kept running into issues where the PC would freeze and then reboot on its own after about 1 hour into Halo Infinite. This happened consistently. Checked in with iBUYPOWER Tech Support. They were nice and helpful and identified that the CPU was overheating though the fan was functioning and thermal paste/pad looked fine. So we were instructed to return / exchange the PC. Disappointing that a Gaming Desktop is not properly setup to cool the CPU during game play. So the question is; will the replacement do the same? What would be different about it?
