I found this computer to be a little overpriced. I actually returned it because I found a much better deal for similar parts.

The computer is fast. No real bloatware. My only complaint is it freezes. Freezes when sitting idle, freezes when changing from discord to chrome, and freezes when playing games. Only way to unfreeze is hard shut off. I am talking about games that aren’t graphic intensive as well such as rogue trader or disciples:liberation.

Purchased a Y40 Prebuilt with 4060 ti & i7-137F, Its a alright prebuilt the case is beautiful & great wire management. Returned it cause ended up freezing on me multiple times, the fix is something do with changing the ram timing in BIOS but i paid $1700 for this pre built why did i have to spend hours troubleshooting a product that is $1700 something that should work out the box perfect with no problems so i returned it and will be building my own PC

Already freezing up. Zero cookies allowed and no browsing the internet. I strictly use for World of Warcraft. I should’ve gone with Apple.

I purchased this PC as a Christmas gift for my son. The setup was easy, but once he started playing games, the computer continued to freeze up, requiring a cold boot. I discovered the graphics card driver wasn’t installed. After installing, he continued to experience some lockups, so I took the PC back. The Best Buy exchange process was easy. Two days later, we haven’t experienced any lockups. I’ll update later.

Computer keeps crashing....any ideas why? It will randomly freeze and you cant do anything.

Absolute junk! Worked great for about 1 yr, now keeps hard crashing/freezing. Upgraded power supply, adjusted ram as several have said, just spent $180 on power supply and it did not fix it. Super dissapointed, when you see all of the same consistent problems with everyone you would think the vendor and best buy would stand behind thier product. Especially when you save up for it, as a parent for your child and now its absolutely nothing now.

Did not receive what we paid for. Ordered this item on Black Friday and wrapped it for my son for Christmas. He opened it yesterday and when we were hooking it up noticed that there was only dual fans and not the triple that we bought. Checked the model # on the back and it was different that the one ordered. We today to get the right computer and the associate did not help and insinuated that the mail lady changed it out and then said they did not have this item in the store anyway. I have been buying from BestBuy for years. I will no longer purchase from BestBuy going forward. This is a true scam and a great way to ruin a child's Christmas. Thanks for nothing BestBuy and shame on you!

I wanted a computer that had power to run my games better than my previous gaming laptop. I got this computer home, and now all it does when I try playing games is completely crash. I can't do anything once everything freezes. The only way to get it to work again is to force shut down, which is horrible to do to the computer. Never recommending this unit to anyone.

My item is shown as delivered, but the delivery address is completely different from mine. I was waiting for a birthday present for my son and got into trouble. delivery was not made, the support service promised to send me the goods within 2 days, but they didn’t do it either. Today I received a notification from the bank that I must pay for what I did not receive and + the imposed service of $176 protection plan. I don’t understand what I have to pay for

I regret buying this PC so much. Upgraded or at least I thought I did and I did NOT. My PC that was 6 years old worked better. The system hard crashes every 5 minutes. I have had the PC for 6 months. Geeksquad was completely useless. Claimed twice that they fixed it and they did not. After searching the internet and reddit, other people had the same issue. I went into BIOS and changed dram from 5200 to 4800 and now it runs but it is slow and I cannot play video games. I am assuming replacing RAM may fix the issue but I honestly am not sure. I wish I had not bought this computer. Also, ibuypower warrenty is not valid unless you buy from THEIR website so they will not do anything. Not sure if i'm going to scrap this pc or put money into it.

Computer is fine and dandy this is about Best Buy. I for the life of me can’t find anywhere to write a review about my transaction so this is the next best thing. THEY CHARGED ME TWICE! Bought this computer in November and then there was a charge on Dec 26th for the same amount that’s overdraft my checking acct! Tried 3 times to call support which only hung up on me Every-time when I try and explain! Of course it’s a guy in India and I know dam sure his name IS NOT STEVE! Do not BUY ANYTHING ONLINE from them! You also cannot call your local store anymore! Worst company ever outsourced to foreigners who would love to rip you off!

Device started freezing about a week after purchase. Geeksquad said the graphics card was probably at the end of its life. Returned for a refund. I liked the machine but other reviews said they had a similar problem so I feel like its an ibuypower problem.

Purchased for my son in November 2023. Within a month we noticed constant blue screens, to the point where it no longer recognized the SSD. Called iBuyPower for an RMA on the SSD, received it 10 days later, imaged it and within a few weeks we started noticing blue screens again. The only fix was to disable the driver signatures and after about 2 months the system crashed and will power on but the displays will no longer connect, even when trying to connect directly to the motherboard and bypassing the GPU. I’m saying all of this because it looks like they are all name brand hardware but from questionable manufacturers… just be careful when purchasing as the support is also slow and no weekend support.

While I was very encouraged to take this desktop looking at other reviews, it turned out a disappointment. 2 months into the purchase, the system crashes unprecedently, hardly with any activity at all. There has been no help from iBuyPower or BestBuy. :-(

Had the same problem as 4 other reviewers had, it works great when it works but it just randomly freezes. In games and just while surfing the web. It was very hard to pinpoint the reason it was doing so, i think it has something to do with motherboard or SSD. Had to return it after a week.

Installed all new drivers/updates for PC. Proceeded to install CyberPunk 2077 and everything went smooth. Launched game and The PC crashes to a restart no more than 3-4 minutes into gameplay. No one can help me through support, what a waste of $1800 i'm dissapointed with this purchase

This PC immediately began to freeze up from day one. I tried everything I could think of, Geek Squad etc., but it appears to be hardware issue. It has progressively gotten worse since then. I don't think it is fair nor a good business practice for Best Buy to sell me such an expensive product and yet want to charge me to fix a faulty product. That's all I have to say. I am a very disappointed customer.

Had to use the warranty because the last one had hardware issues. The case is a little different to open if you don’t already know how. The RAM is blocked be the fan, so you have to remove the fan to add more RAM or reseat it. They made it easy to trade in, although I needed to repurchase the warranty. Don’t recommend right now. We’ll see if the second one is better and may update review.

First one arrived with broken glass. Second one died within 2 months. Constant system freezes and loss of all internet functions. No other system at home was having any issues. Reinstalling OS did not resolve as it continued to experience disconnection issues and complete lockup without ability to enter task manager or soft reset
