After conducting extensive research on pre-built and custom computers including Digital Storm, Origin, Alienware, and Maingear just to name a few, I had narrowed the search down to Digital Storm and Maingear for the build and reviews on their products. Each of the builds were extremely close and included Intel Core i5-12600K, MSI PRO B760-P DDR4 (Wi-Fi) (Intel B760 Chipset), 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, 1TB SSD M.2, 1TB SSD Samsung 870 EVO, Liquid CPU Cooler, and GeForce RTX 3050 RTX 8GB. Both systems had a cost of about $1900.00 and would take about 3 weeks built & delivered to my location. I figured I would see what Best Buy had on the shelf and found the Y40 IBP from iBuyPower which included a MSI Pro B760-VC WIFI MoBo, Intel i7-13700F, 32GB memory, 2TB SSD M.2, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti (8GB), and Windows 11. This system was on sale and was $500.00 cheaper than other builders with similar components, so I decided to purchase this with the Geek Squad coverage to protect the investment ($180) and still came out saving money. I purchased this on January 13, 2024, so this will be an ongoing review to give everyone a clear perspective on the product. To begin, it was well packaged with clear instructions on how to begin the set up for the desktop (not that it was needed). After taking it out of the box, it looked great, wires were tucked nicely in the case, and the tempered glass with internal lights make it attractive on the desk. Setup was not difficult; however, it was extremely time consuming (mostly due to my internet because I live in the country and have Fixed Wireless). I haven’t had any issues with the system, It runs great, quiet, and easily runs my games. I will update this review in a month to let everyone know how it is performing.

Bought this a couple months ago worked fine until it didn't. Come to find out the RAM is not compatible with the system, causing crashes.

It constantly freezes. Many hours of troubleshooting and research and in talking to iBuyPower it appears to be a RAM issue. Or possibly CPU or motherboard. After replacing the RAM I'm still battling and troubleshooting it. I'm trying to resolve without having to send it all to iBuyPower and wait for them to analyze and fix it. Also in researching it seems others have had this same issue.

I was on the phone and online remotely with the geek squad because my computer has no volume and he couldn’t fix it. So he said I have to bring the whole processor back to Best Buy and have them look at it. Not very happy at the moment with it

I turn on the pc couple days after setting it up and it starts to crash and both the keyboard and mouse stop working. Only way i can turn it back on is to force shutdown just for it to crash again.

The graphics card quit working after less than 2 months. Best buy only warranties PCs for 15 days and IBUYPOWER will not warranty anything purchased from other retailers.

Internal fans are not coming on and neither are the lights. Hard to find user guide to setup.

Bought this pc during black friday and picked it up 2 days later. the gpu was wrong instead of 16 it had 8gb of vram. The pc turned off and on repeatedly. Not worth money. fake reviews

I Originally purchased a ibuypower y60 with a I9 13th, 32gb, RTX 4070. for 1599.99. First unit DOA, 2nd unit had random freezes issues after 30 days. I decided to switch to this Y40 it work great for 30 days and now its randomly freezes when idle or gaming. I have to hard reset it everytime it freezes.

Not a great computer. Too much terming in and off and difficult to use.

I started having consistent freezing/crashing issues almost day one. Tried everything under the sun to fix, but no good. Had no choice but to return it, decided to go another route.

On Paper it looks like a great system. The components do not work well together. The system keeps freezing up and no one can tell me how to fix it. Read the question section. No one can debug the problem.

PC stopped working not even 30 days after purchase went to best buy to get it checked out and they refuse to give it back with no explanation i would like a refund !

Computer arrived in decent time but it doesn’t turn on, so I would give 0 stars if I could. 3 phone reps have told me I can’t exchange it.

The item arrived and the video card was coming apart along with a broken pin. I was looking forward to this as a substantial upgrade from my old computer, I had to return it and they had none in stock.

PC freezes within in 30 min. Removed graphics drivers, changed OS, installed a ton of graphic driver versions, ran system at base minimal settings, Still, its bad. Unexpected and annoying

It dogs it don’t work over half to games I play I wasted my money now I can’t even get it fixed without you all wanting more money never will I mention a ibuypower it’s dog

I bought this pc 3 day ago.Had nothing but problem.Lock up and freeze up have to hold button to return and late do the same thing again.I try another ssd m.2 and still lock for got install windows

Came with graphics card loose and unattached lying in the bottom. Didn’t trust the product enough to order a replacement. Returned it for refund.
