The Ice Age series, across the four in the series, has been full of adventure and fun, and Continental Drift is no different. Scrat the squirrel starts the continental drift in his never ending pursuit of the acorn. Manny is separated from Ellie and Peaches during the drift and there begins his adventure with buddies Diego and Sid. Sid is united with his family who, it turns out, just wanted to leave his granny with him and disappear. The granny, voice of Wanda Sykes, brings in fine humor. The pack, in their attempt to reunite Manny with his family, runs into evil Captain Gutt, the reigning pirate of the frozen waters. They venture off with his boat after beating his crew, only to run into him again. Here starts a friendship between Diego and Shira. Captain Gutt in a desperate attempt to get even with Manny holds Peaches hostage. Manny and the entire pack, including Granny, fight back with gusto. The overall pace and adventure of The Continental Drift is at par with the previous versions, it's non-stop adventure with funny scenes that kids will enjoy. However, it feels like more of the same over and over again. There isn't much depth of content, no new ideas, no scintillating graphics, and no meaningful development of characters. That being said, the movie is still great fun for the entire family. It's adventurous, funny, and definitely worth a watch.

This was the only movie that the family didn't have in our collection, so we fixed that problem with this purchase!

All of the ice age movies are family entertainment at its finest. Watch the squirrel, he is definitely OCD towards his acorn.

Our grandson loves watching this DVD. He takes it on all our trips. But grandpa is tired of it. Lol

It’s such a classic movie. I had to have it for my collection.

Good price and includes Digital Copy. Must have for any Ice Age fan.

Fun movie for the whole family to enjoy in a Saturday evening

As the "world" of these characters continues to expand, so does the cast of characters. That's the major draw back of the last few films. That being said this film does have a marked improvement over the last film. It's a fairly harmless movie, that offers some laughs and decent enough family entertainment. However, If you're still around after the third entry in this animated series, you're most likely not going to care about this review.

A fun continuation of the Ice Age films. If you are a fan of the Ice Age movies and haven't grabbed this one, I would recommend it. It is funny and and my daughter certainly enjoys it. As with a lot of movies now, I'm glad to see the sets packaged with a Blu-Ray, DVD, and some sort of digital copy. It just makes it easy to keep the DVD in the car for the kids, while having the Blu-Ray at home.

This sequel is even farther out into absurd than the first movies, but still has some very funny bits. I always feel sorry for Scrat & appreciate Manny's world-weary outlook. The fights are pretty cartoony, so most kids ought to be OK with it. I suppose it could be sillier, the next one has Aliens abducting Scrat!

My daughter loves the Ice Age Franchise, so we were pleased to be able to get a copy of the latest movie at a reasonable price. Thanks to Best Buy Rewards, it was even cheaper! Only 4 stars, because I, personally, am a bit tired of the antics of Manny, Diego, and Sid...

How can you go wrong with this cast of characters, both animated and voices. My wife has watched it at least 5 times and continues to laugh every time. Ray Romano is the perfect voice. This movie is as good for adults as it is for children.

3D is pretty good, probably not the best but there is definitely some good shots. Recommend reviewing before allowing young children to view it, some parts may be intense for a 3 or maybe 4 year old. Introduces a couple of great new characters.

Believe it or not, there are pirate ships made of ice! A fun romp with animated characters in this 4th installment of the Ice Age series. Voices include Ray Romano, Denis Leary and Queen Latifah (among others.)

The movie was good, as I would expect, and can't beat $3.99 for the price! Miss the digital copy on this one, but that's what portable DVD players are for I guess.

If you like the other movies in this series, you'll enjoy this one as well. It adds some new characters to continue to make it intriguing for younger children, and still maintains some of the one-liners for older children.

The original fun gang is all here again for a forth turn. Though the film is still fun to watch, colorful and full of cartoon action. The plot's are starting to run thin. Great character vocal's by all involved.

Ice age continental drift is a good watch. It does get little slow in middle but still keeps you gripped. I got the Blu-Ray, DVD and digital copy combo. Kids love it to watch it on the ipad while on the go.

We bought the Blu-ray version to stay with the quality movie as all the rest of the Ice Age movies we own. The 4th movie is my least favorite, but the kids still enjoy it often.
