I think it worked fine but honestly probably overkill for building a PC. I don't think this thing was that expensive, so if you want peace of mind go for it.

While working on PC’s this a great product to make sure you don’t fry your hardware. Wasn’t uncomfortable or hard to put on

Always be prepared to not destroy sensitive parts. Always ground yourself, always be prepared.
