bought it for a PC build and didn't have any issues with static. It it's job with no problem.

good for a first time pc builder, if you built a pc before i honestly think it’s not needed as it’s more of a fear factor purchase, static electricity is a very real thing when building a pc but if your an advanced builder i think you can do it quick enough to not worry about it much

Works as it should did fry anything while wearing it

So I grounded via wall outlet hole which was a little too big, so the bracelet contact end would easily come out all the time. If the cord was straight or like 2-3 times longer, it would be much easier to work with. Ideal would probably be purchasing a mat and attaching cord to it, but I didn’t feel like spending extra $70 + for just this one DIY PC built. Despite that, the PC works flawlessly so I guess bracelet served it’s purpose.

Very important tool to have when working on electronic devices. Its almost mind blowing how much damage static electricity can do so the circuitry of whatever device your working on.. not with this anti static bracelet from ifixit it.
