It does the job it’s required to do, its not peferfect but nothing is so do your part to make sure youre not wearing anything/doing anything that produces a lot of static.

If you’re looking to use this for Static equalization. This will work fine. Just connect to the pc with the clip and the rest to your wrist

Definitely worked as none of my components got ESD fried. Not exactly a necessity but DEFINITELY adds peace of mind.

I wear it whenever I do minor repairs to some of the circuit boards. I'm learning electronics and didn't want to compound any damage to the board by introducing stray currents. So far I think it works quite well.

A definite need working on electronics in cold/carpeted rooms.

I purchased this so that I could safely install a second 16 GB RAM chip. I have carpet and I know that it can possibly cause a static discharge even though I may not even feel it.

I will give it 5 instead of 4 stars even thought I wish it was a tiny bit cheaper based on materials. Overall it's not bad and it gets the job done. Avoid overstretching, since the band can tend to wear out faster if you have particularly sweaty wrists.

Serves it's purpose well as long as you can confine your work area. The cord could be a little longer to afford the wearer better reach. Also, the alligator clip could have a little stronger grip. If you attempt to stretch beyond the confines of the cord length, the clip will pull away from what it's attached to more easily than it should.
