Had no issues when building my system. Was it because of the strap? Doubt it but definitely gives peace of mind.

Must have if you swap components regularly

This thing helps me work on my PC with confidence. My room has carpet and I have cats, so static builds up a lot.

Cheap insurance against static damage

Needed this for replacing computer boards in my cnc milling machine. Static is a board killer. This wristband was cheap insurance against damaging boards that cost $250 each.

Static wrist strap

Cost effective anti-static strap!

Got it to install a new processor and memory into a motherboard. Very confident that I was properly grounded.

My only complaint is that I wish the cord was longer for easier use

Works, but it's a bit difficult

The clip is not the best, though. It can get unclipped pretty easily and it's just stuck on a banana plug, which can also slip out.
