It works great and fits perfect in a small space! Holds a lot

I did not even have this freezer for one day at my home and it still did not work. I read the manual over and over, thinking that I missed hooking it up correctly and it still did not work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. The price may be low, but the workmanship is very poor.

Look for additional freezer space to store meat/seafood, this one is on sale with the right size and good price.

The unit had a dent in the front base when I got home. It seems to function just fine. I wish there was a way to prop open the cover though. Overall, this is a decent freezer for the price point.

The perfect size freezer for extra storage in the garage or basement

Freezer chest didn't cool to its potential. I left ice cream in there and it was melted. The chest never froze the food just kept it cool. I returned it to Best Buy for a refund.

This freezer is compact and needs a small space. It is quite quiet and provide additional storage space for my frozen food. I have it for few months and it is working fine so far.

I bought it at store. It did not work properly. The temperature remained high after two days. I'm not sure if it's because of in-car lying-down shipping or not. Just returned it, and ordered another brand product from Bestbuy online.

I read many reviews regarding this 5.1 cu ft freezer before buying. The one negative thing in common with many people was a complaint about dents & dings on the sheet metal. When I opened my freezer, it was totally protected with all kinds of Styrofoam - top - bottom - sides - edges - corners. Not a scratch or dent on it. If there was a packaging problem before, it looks like the manufacturer got it taken care of. And it cools down fast and is so quiet. Nice to have two indicators so I know when it's powered up AND when the compressor is running.

Bought this freezer and within a years time it stopped working. Don’t waste your time and money. I think they discontinued it

If this freezer keeps working, I love it! I love the great price with free pick-up if shipped to Best Buy, and I love the appearance of the unit with no dents on mine! I love the red running light with an additional green light that indicates when the compressor is running. I love the fact that it reaches operating temperature below zero in less than two hours. Five generous cubic feet of freezing storage with a reasonably low electricity consumption. I'm tech, so measured a current surge (label said 12A) on start-up, and .64 running amps. 70 watts. (label said .9A) Quiet enough. Compressor typically runs for 2 minutes 45 seconds and then stays off for 7 or 8 minutes. Repeats this 24/7 after up to temperature.

After looking around a lot, we found this item here at Best Buy and were very happy to do so. We were able to compare different freezers using a compare feature on the website, and this one was the best combination of the different attributes we were looking at. It was a great price for the product in terms of size and shape. It fits well in our home, not too big, but definitely big enough to accommodate a lot of foods stuffs. It is just what we wanted. We opted for in store pick up, not having to travel too far to find the nearest Best Buy carrying the freezer chest. However, make sure you know the dimensions of the box before you go to get it, and compare that to the storage in your vehicle. Ours almost didn't fit! We had to put it on its side to get it in, so when we got home we had to leave it upright for 48 hours before it was safe to turn it on. Just be mindful of that. Otherwise, this is the perfect freezer for us. I would buy this again, no question.

We bought this deep freeze about 6 months ago. It was a great value at the sale price and has served our needs perfectly. It holds temperature well and doesn't seem to kick on very often. Overall, it's a good, basic deep freeze for the price.
