    Basic Alarm Color

    Not my favorite alarm but it does the trick. I do still set my phone as an alarm because I've had it not go off before (not sure what happened, but everything was set. Went off the day before and nothing was changed so...).

      When waking to Bluetooth make sure the alarm source is open on your device. That way it will trigger playback. Make sure the correct alarm indicator is showing. iHome

    it cant see the batteries, thinks there dead. and yes i replaced them with new ones. buzzer isnt very loud. i am going to return for my money.

      The iBT230 is not a wireless unit. It must be plugged in at all times. The batteries are a backup in the event of a temporary power outage. iHome

    Little disappointing on how it functions. Buttons are small and hard to read. Keeps making beeping noises during the night.

      Please contact iHome Support if you need help with understanding the functions or if you need setup instructions. It would be a good idea to turn off the Bluetooth on your device when not using it. The beeping noise occurs when your device comes in range and makes a connections. iHome

    This product would constantly try to pair with nearby cell phones and beep at random. Very annoying when trying to sleep.

      If you turn off the Bluetooth on your phone, or choose to disconnect, this should not happen. iHome

    The clock display (brightness) flashes from time to time. The date function doesn't always work. It doesn't advance from one day to another. Clock and radio works.

      The date will not show on the display if there is an alarm set. When you set an alarm, the wake up time will show. It is possible that your AM/PM is incorrect and this is why the day did not change. iHome

    Hard wired FM antenna

    Product barely got out of the box. The FM antenna is hard wired, which wouldn't be safe for my pets.

      An easy solution would be to wrap the antenna wire around the power cord. It might even improve reception. iHome

    The Bluetooth connection is too powerful and erratic... if you disconnect from it to reconnect your device to other Bluetooth like wireless headphones, the clock will highjack the connection back, even if you are in another room. It even reconnected itself to my phone as soon as it pulled into my driveway.

      Managing your Bluetooth is easy enough to do by forgetting devices or simply turning Bluetooth on or off. iHome

    I ordered this alarm clock for my daughters birthday on October,so I did not open it for few days. Then I thought lets check it how its working and I was shocked to see the box. The box was open and the wrap was torned and the color was not that what I ordered. I decide to return it.

    this alarm clock is a total waste. I took it back. the alarm would have only woke me up if someone surgically implanted it into my head. could not hear it at all

      The buzzer alarm has a gradual wake feature that starts out very low and within 30 seconds it reaches maximum volume. If you never waited 30 seconds, you never heard true loudness of the buzzer. iHome

    I brought this home and it broke right away. The unit would only seem to want to hit my bluetooth device and would not play the radio. I will be exchanging it

      Sometimes when there is a problem with Bluetooth audio quality you only need to delete from the source device and then re-do the pairing procedure. In most cases this will solve the problem. iHome

    I bought this clock radio for my mother. What I like about it is that you can set 1 alarm to listen via bluetooth (for her audio books) and the second alarm for the radio (Claasical, in this case). Neither of which will be used for waking purposes, rather to have a chance to have something to listen to on a schedule. I have only tested it in my home, as it is a birthday present. Once I put it in her place and see how it goes the next few days, I may modify this entry.

    it is an alarm clock. has AUX input for MP3 player. Pain in the behind to use. All buttons are flush with top of radio - impossible to identify buttons in the dark. Combinations of buttons needed to program. you can't select pre-set stations individually, you have keep pressing one button to scan thru all of them in sequence to get back to one you want. Just not user friendly - makes you wonder who designed this thing - obviously not someone who had to use it!
