    Everything worded well, except alarm volume. If you plan on using this with the radio or iPhone to wake up with, then ok. However if one needs an alarm to wake up to then there is an issue. I was unable to adjust the volume of the alarm (independent of radio). Neither manufacturer source nor Geek Squad could help, so item was returned.

      The buzzer alarm volume is not adjustable, it is automatic. It has a gradual wake feature that increases the volume over a period of 30 seconds so it does not startle you awake. Wait for 30 seconds and you will hear the maximum buzzer volume. iHome

    Will not change any device with a protective cover of any kind. Not used due to all of our $800 to $1000 devices have protective covers that are difficult to remove just to charge.

    This is a nice device. However it does not charge my phone that well and the Watch had to be placed on the watch charger a certain way

    This item stopping working within a few months. The USB part stop working I do not know why. But do not waste your money

    Good product but makes a subtle high pitch noise when playing music from iPhone (dock or Bluetooth). The noise began after 2 months.

    This was a bit of an impulse-buy item for me, as I was Christmas shopping for other things when I walked past this. I selected this one over the other models, because I like the way it neatly organizes the phone and watch, of which I have both. It's easy enough to setup, and the sound quality is pretty good, and I like that it has two alarms and is intelligent enough to wake me up on weekday mornings, and not weekends. You can select a tone or the radio to wake up to. I like that it has a built in radio, can play songs from my phone via Bluetooth, or just when docked without bluetooth. Naturally, you can pair it to other devices, like your iPad and play from it as well. I wish the LED was a bit clearer--the 'dots' that form the numbers make it a bit fuzzy at night for me and my near-sightedness, so I turned off the auto dimmer to help with that. It syncs its time with your iPhone, so you don't even have to fool with setting the time. It does, however, take forever to iterate through all the minutes to set the time for the alarm. If there's a faster way to do it, I haven't noticed yet. It doesn't accommodate an iPad, but there's a separate USB port in the back if you need an extra charger for it or something else. I like that it fits my iPhone SE with a case on it, and it'll obviously fit the larger iPhone models as well. Overall, I give it a full 5 stars.

      2. Unplug the unit from its power source (AC adapter).
      3. Wait 20 minutes.
      4. Plug the unit into a power source (without batteries).
      5. Hard Reset the (iPad, iPod, iPhone).

      Press and hold the Top (or Side) button until the slider appears.
      Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
      After the device turns off, press and hold the Top (or Side) button again until you see the Apple logo.

      We apologize for the minor inconvenience. Many thicker cases need to be removed in order to dock your phone. Apple makes bottomless cases so it does not need to be removed.

    Have an Otterbox Defender phone case? You’re out of luck on getting your phone charged in its dock without first removing the case....iHome says it “works for most phone cases” but I would guess only for the slimmest ones...

      We understand your disappointment. The docking port is manufactured by Apple and sent to iHome for assembly. Some thin cases to dock. We recommend open bottom or removable bottom cases for a secure fit on the dock. Otterbox is too thick to dock on any unit we are aware of at this time (even another brand) iHome

    This is the second one because the first ended up breaking off in the phone. Now this second one they replaced has done the same thing after about 3 months.

    I searched for the right case to use with this product but can't find one. The case I settled on - you have to push down hard and it might connect for a charge.

      Please remove the rubber docking insert. It is only there to support devices that do not have a case. iHome

      Please elaborate on your review by detailing the exact problem. Is the dock not charging your phone, or the USB port in the back not charging?
      1. Please plug the unit into a working outlet.
      2. Dock the iPhone without a case. Does it charge? Does it play audio? Does the USB port in the back work?
