However, the buttons don't work properly. To turn it on/off, you have to press the button repeatedly and hard. Frequently, it starts the sleep timer instead. Same with the +/- buttons. Frustrating to the point that I work the controls through my iPod instead.

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pretty excited for this but it’s Cheap hardware + a wonky old app. Spent quite some time to download the correct app figure out how to use it, and after meticulously setting my alarms every night I’d still not wake, and be late for work. Switched back to old alarm clock after about a month. I now realize at some point the speaker went out because I can’t get Any sound at all out of it. Even when it did work, the alarms were hard to turn off, the light would turn on mid of night , and the volume would turn itself all the way up, nice and loud though. I hate to think of how much money this thing cost me as an hourly employee .. I might get $60 worth of satisfaction watching It explode when it hits the ground from my balcony , after my return/exchange request gets denied, I assume. No I didn’t purchase the protection plan.

1. Remove the batteries from the unit.
2. Unplug the unit from its power source (AC adapter).
3. Wait 20 minutes.
4. Plug the unit into a power source (without batteries).
If normal operation is restored, insert "new" batteries into the unit.
If the problem persists, please contact our Support Team so we can bring the unit in for evaluation. We would like to make things right.

For the price it should at least come with a remote to control the color settings. Plus, it should show the date in the display. If you are ok with manually adjusting all features then its awesome. The led light colors are beautiful to watch.
