I wish it connected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to find an alarm clock that I could wake to my iPod with. It has dual alarms, battery backup, daylight savings auto correct, and 2, 5, or 7 day settings. I even found it $20 off. EVERYTHING I was looking for. As a bonus, I could simply set my phone on top to charge and wake to a gradual increase in volume. Unfortunately, the first morning I woke to a tone instead of BT. No worries, I thought. I must have set something wrong. After spending a half hour, I’ve determined the alarm clock will not stay connected to my iPod through Bluetooth. For that reason, I will have to use Best Buy’s 15 day return policy and keep looking for the perfect alarm clock for me.

Posted .Tricia, Your phone needs to be connected to BT in order to wake your phone. The phone may disconnect from he unit if there is no audio detected after 15 minutes to save battery life on the connected device (phone).

Not worth the money.

I have been looking for a nice clock radio and thought I Home was the way to go. My first clock radio was the I Home IPLWBT5BC. Very difficult to dock an I phone. Looked on line for an alternate. The I Home IBN35OGC looked nice with it's wireless charging but didn't have many good reviews. I returned my 1st purchase and exchanged for the I Home iBTW38B, which had no reviews, I guess I'm the first. I liked the wire less phone charging feature but it doesn't work on any of our 4 different I phones. Very difficult to set up. I would not recomend this product. It will be going back.

Apple did not manufacture the phones with Qi charging until the iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8. Previous models need a Qi charging case.
