I find this annoying while using the speaker in the shower incase an annoying song comes on i just have to listen through it...or risk water damage to my iPhone.

Posted .We understand your point of view and It is unfortunate your iPhone is not waterproof. Most bluetooth speakers now are only controlled by the connected device (phone) because it acts as a remove control (per our Customer survey). So we moved forward with that type of design to fit our Customer needs/wants.
