Was disappointed I had no music the rest of the trip.

Posted .We are sorry to hear about your kayaking experience. The battery needs to be fully charged (about 4 hours) before initial use. If the LED flashes red, or you notice sound distortion at higher volumes, or there is no sound at all, it is time to recharge the battery. Keep in mind, the longer the lights are on and the higher the volume (over 40%); the faster the battery will be depleted.

The only thing is that we wish I could be louder. We use it outside and on a boat. But maybe our space is just too big. Totally worth what I paid... it was even in sale.

Posted .Thank you for taking time to leave a review for the iBT371 which has 5 watts of audio output power. We do have a larger version (iHome iBT374) which has 10 watts of audio output power. This one may be better for outside adventures.

The sound quality is not great sounds muffled alot of the time and it doesnt get loud enough for me personally if its across a busy room you cannot hear it over competing noises.

Currently using in a bathroom where there can be lots of steam from showering. Weather-resistant speaker is proving good and the price was about right for the purpose. Probably not the ideal speaker for a larger room.

Posted .Thank you for taking time to leave a review. This is definitely a smaller speaker (5 watts) which is not manufactured for house parties, although it can be used outdoors. You need to upgrade to the iBT374 which has 20 watts of audio output power to entertain a large crowd. We appreciate your input.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for grandson

Grandson had the speaker working after 5 minutes out of box. He really liked the floating in water feature and is already using it at water park

Have heard smaller speakers with more balanced frequency response. A bit light on the lower end but overall quality is not too bad. Volume graduations could be a bit smoother as well.
