And this speaker does serve its purpose but the volume doesnt get very high. Works good in small enclosed areas if you dont have any other noise going on.

Posted .This is a great speaker with 5 watts of audio output power. The static is an indication the speaker needs to be charged or the bluetooth connection is weak. Unpair/Forget the speaker from the phone, restart the phone, then re-pair. Also, the longer the lights are on, the faster the battery depletes.

Posted .It is unfortunate this item was not a fit for you and was returned to the store. The iBT371 has 5 watts of audio output power which is much higher than a cell phone. Once connected via Bluetooth, the volume can be increased on the unit and with your phone for more volume. Check out the bigger versions iBT372 and iBT374. You will not be disappointed.
