The stereo installation was okay okay except the fan in my car stopped working after this service. I brought it back on 3/26 to have a back up camera installed and the installer said the wire to my fan burnt out at the same exact time the stereo screen was going installed. I don’t believe this is true so I put in an insurance claim since now I don’t have an air conditioner or fan in my car. I’m still waiting to hear back about the claim.

The guys did a great job installing this nice Kenwood , replaced my dated cd/cassette player and it looks like it came with the vehicle, very professional.

At first I was worried about a different technician working on my car, as I already had trusted a different technician with my previous car and he was AWESOME! The technician at the Commack store who worked on my car was Chris. All I can say is WOW! I cannot say enough great things about him! He was super personable and polite. Very, very knowledgeable with car installations too. I knew my car was in good hands after our consult. (Which he made time for on short notice when I walked in without an appt.) Everything was done with professional precision too. I got my in-dash radio receiver installed, along with XM Radio. He also installed the steering wheel controls. And lastly, he installed my back-up camera. He surpassed my expectations by getting all of that work done expediently as well. Thank you so much, Chris! You rock!

Completed installation in a reasonable time period. Only issue i had is the temperature control was not put back properly but it was an easy fix and did it myself.

The installer was profesional and had a great attitude and was friendly. He did a great job and did not scratch or damage my car when doing the install. It looks factory. The only complaint I have is that he was unable to get my steering wheel controls to work. The equipment I purchased is supposed to retain those controls but he couldnt get them to work. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but some people would not be okay with it. Overall a great value and am happy enough.

I had no idea Chrysler would go out if its way to make installing an after market radio on a Jeep Cherokee such a nightmare, but installer Kelsey at the Knoxville, TN store simply wouldn't stop until it was installed correctly. I bought the radio as a black Friday promotion and it came with free installation, but Kelsey installed it and took it out about four times and never charged a penny. And when everything was finally working but the odometer wouldn't stop blinking, she sent me to the dealership to have the computer "flashed" and it worked fine. She guaranteed the store would refund whatever the dealer charged and even though the dealer charged a ridiculous $145 to flash it, the store reimbursed me with a smile and no questions. And Kelsey did such a good job, the dealer guy said it was the best install job he'd ever seen. Said it looked like it came out of the factory installed. So, I couldn't recommend Kelsey any higher. Ask for her if you ever need a radio installed in Knoxville.

Installation was great. Looked good and had no issues. Came free with the radio so I’ve got no complaints, and they managed to squeeze it in same day no apt.

They did a great job and done in a timely manner. The tech was very professional and knowledgeable about the product and how to use it once it was installed.

The installer Sidney at the Folsom Ca store did an excellent job installing my new kenwood 5707S into my old 1997 chevy silverado using a custom after market Metra dash face, lined it up perfectly, and installed new kicker-ks speakers. It looks and sounds great! She also went one step further and put a couple new door panel pins on i had so my door panel is nice and tight. Thank you Sidney for the excellent install.

Upgraded the head unit on my 2005 Ford Taurus. Went from a Kenwood Exceleon KDC-X998 to a Pioneer AVH-3500NEX. Both are single DIN stereos but the pioneer has more modern technology. It has a 7” flip out screen that allows a backup camera hook up and also features Apple CarPlay. Install took about 3 hours, which included swapping out the radios and installing the backup camera. The Geek squad installers were also kind enough to give me a Bluetooth mic cable for free since I didn’t have one for my new radio. I purchased the items online not at BestBuy. I had Geek Squad install parts since they have a killer warranty. Great service!

I'll preface this review by saying because this is a service, and not just a product, your experience might vary depending on the competence of your Geek Squad staff in your area. However, I can say that the guy here did a great installation, did it in less than an hour, and even refunded me the difference saying I was originally over-charged for the wrong selected service. It seems like car audio isn't one of Best Buy's strong suits nowadays (makes sense), but at my local Best Buy it was impossible to find an employee willing to help me in the car audio section. I had to work with a store manager who kindly helped me out and ended up scheduling me at another store across town for my install. Hence the 4 stars. If you're looking at car audio, best to know what you want and do the research yourself so you aren't at the mercy of someone who knows less than you do.
