The audio service tech at the Mesquite location is the best I have seen. I was very impressed with his skill and customer service. Saved me hundreds of dollars by finding the issue with my old stereo (blown fuse on the back) so I didn't have to buy new equipment. After that, he would no accept a tip for his efforts. Because of this, I will continue to bring my business to the Mesquite Best Buy.

This is a great product for the price. Factor in all parts and install price before buying. The stereo was on sale for approx. $520 but cost around $220 for install & parts. Got the 4 yr extended warranty for another around $60. Best thing is if anything goes wrong related to install has lifetime warranty. Plan in advance for install there are minimal installers and takes a bit to get in as well as time required. My truck took 5+ hours because complexity of vehicle type and connecting to aftermarket system. All in all sounds excellent and major upgrade to a 2004 original factory system.

Generally happy with the installation service I received. Was able to schedule it the following day, got started right away, and was completed in about the amount of time that was expected. Interior of the car was clean and orderly afterwards as well. That said, I would have liked it if the installer would have shown me how to use some of the features I was interested in, but he probably assumed I didn't need that, and I didn't ask, so, minor thing, and, again, generally happy with the service.

The agents were on point from start to finish. They even helped me order a part on Amazon that they needed for the schedule installation that they did not have in stock

We purchased the installation along with the stereo etc. I think this fee is excessive considering it takes less than an hour and the customer has to purchase all kits, wires. Etc before they will even start the installation. The installer will not use the existing wires or use any that come with the stereo purchase. He also did not remove the CD's we told him were in the stereo before disconnecting it and did not allow us to do it. We asked about the CD's he first said the stereo was broken? It was working fine when we brought it in. It was actually playing when he pulled it into the garage. I reminded him of that then he admitted he really forgot. I was appreciative for his honesty. All in all the new system is working great. My son is happy with has new stereo. After all he is the baby of 6 and we have 5 older sons who we have dealt with replacing stereos for. Fortunately our daughter had other priorities for her car that were not so costly....would reccomend with warnings. Be prepared for not only the expensive install cost but the requirement to purchase additional supplies.

New car stereo in 2010 RAV4. When I arrived for my 10am appointment, the install crew wasn't even there. Maybe it was an actual random bad day, but the folks at the front desk were not at all surprised by them not being there. I was not the only 10am appointment. Then the actual install was half-assed. The trim pieces were not placed correctly, the USB was run through the glove box and they didn't even tell me that I needed a separate cord to hook up the steering wheel controls to the stereo. My wife ended up having to make a separate appointment and buy the additional cord for this issue.

Very professional service, the guy who did my car had a lot of knowledge and was very skilled. And plus it was a free service if you buy the carplay from best buy. They also provided me with the best options that best correlates with my car and it has been a month and my carplay works amazing.

I got a Kenwood 9706S double din unit installed in my 2004 Corvette. My car is a single din dash and the instillation expert in the audio bay was excellent. I also had a subwoofer with enclosure and amp installed. He installed everything well and everything worked fine and my car was filled with great sound. He was very professional and seemed highly knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do and gave me an honest estimate of how long it would take. Overall I was very satisfied with his professionalism and expertise.

The technicians Ramon and Memo installed my Pioneer 6.8 touch screen CD player in my 2001 Toyota Tundra. I was able to purchase the additional parts needed for the installation. The Techs were amazing and were able to squeeze in the install of a backup camera even though they were on a tight schedule. The system upgrade revitalized the inside of my truck and look forward to upgrading the speakers in the near future. Kudos to Ramon and Memo, they left my truck cleaner than what I would have ever expected.

Gary in Canton did awesome work. He was friendly and explained what would work best with our Jeep. We love the new stero system and back up cam. It's been a great upgrade. I would work with Best Buy Geek Squad again for sure!

Great installation job. Can't recommend enough!!!

Technician was outstanding. Even though they had a booked schedule, he would try to call to get an earlier spot to replace my daughter's receiver. When completed took the time to show the features and set up.

Audio technician installed my new pioneer radio/dvd player and it is working great! Wire for the bluetooth phone mic hidden and professional, everything wired up the way it should be, and wired my backup camera so that I can turn it on or off at any time whether in reverse or not (which will be REALLY handy next time I am hauling/backing up a trailer). Wonderful service, professional as can be!

It was a bit late in the evening and I was trying to figure out what replacement speakers would fit best for ease of install. We messaged back and forth for about ten minutes, then did a video call. He gave me different options, and what would both sound great and fit the factory speaker holes. I am super happy with the results!

I bought an aftermarket radio for my car including the installation kit (PAC / harness; antenna adapter; in-dash deck inst kit) and had it installed by BestBuy GeekSquad. The appointment worked on-time. The service guys were helpful and friendly; A few days later I detected a technical issue ( a feature that was not working in conjunction with my phone) and GeekSquad was giving me a timely follow-up appointment and were able to fix the issue. Altogether a good experience at my local BestBuy. I will soon bring in my other car for another radio install and write a review for that experience then.

Very helpful & knowledgeable. I got a shoddy system on Amazon, and rather than just installing it, the serviceman warned me that it was bad quality. He told me if I wanted he could refund me and I could find someone else to install it, then showed me the systems that were available in the store. He helped me pick out one that was better quality and much cheaper than what I'd originally bought, then refunded me for my original service purchase so I could pay for the system and service together, which he said would give me a discount. It only took about 45 minutes for him to install the system, and when he was done he showed me how to use it.
