The employees are very nice, but I can't honestly recommend getting your unit and installation at Best Buy. I spent $750 on a Pioneer car play unit and installation (including all the necessary parts for installation). The Pioneer unit has been glitchy. I was getting a Maestro error on the screen, so I went back to Best Buy to get the unit checked. I still get the Maestro error. In addition, now the backup camera image is dim and almost looks like it is in back and white - it used to be bright and sharp, with vivid color. Now, I'm out $750 for a unit and parts that do mostly work, but clearly don't fully work properly. I should have spent the extra $300-400 at a car stereo shop. If I can figure out how to get it all working properly, I will update this review.

I've had these guys install several things for me and they are always fun to work with. They answer all of my questions and take the time to explain to me what they have done and why they did it. They accidentally broke a knob off the back of one of my seats. They made sure they told me about it when I came to pickup the car and said they would replace it. That honesty impressed me. It was on the back of the seat and I probably would have went months and not even noticed it.

Geek Squad installers are great people and work very well together. The Only thing I disagree with is when customers interrupt the installer from doing a job and it takes away from the current job being done. It would be great if you had someone with knowledge on the In-store location that could take care of customers and leave the installers to do their work.

The installation was quicker than expected and the technician explained everything to me with every detail. I will definitely be coming back for future installs.

Jeff was great. he installed the device quickly. hooking up my steering wheel controls and my back up camera. I would recommend his services to anyone. This is the third Stereo I had installed in as many vehicles and each time it was a great experience.

I was gifted to have Chris and Darrel working on my 2008 Corvette that I have just purchased. They did a great job and went over and above to give me the best of the best service on this install. Chris sat in the car with me and went through the operation and functioning of the radio and my front and rear camera operation. I am very pleased as I can only imagine that every install they do Is top notch. Thanks again John Adair

Such a wonderful staff that made the installation of my Stinger Ringer in my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. the check in process was quick, the staff was very knowledgable and helpful. The service was about 3 hrs which we were aware of and once completed they even called us to let us know. Would recommend them for any other installation i need done on my Jeep.

I am satisfied with the service I received from Geek squad. My car stereo installation was originally scheduled for December 4th. I wasn't able to have the installation done on the 4th because I had to order a double din installation kit. Marco my Geek squad technician was awesome. He was able to get me in two weeks later on the 18th.

Kenny the installer at the El Cajon location was great. He was very friendly and respectful unlike one of your other locations. Kenny took the time to explain everything and went above and beyond. Instead of assuming, if there were options on how something was installed, he would ask me which option I would like to choose. He never made me feel rushed. He is a valuable asset to your company.

I brought my vehicle in to have this head unit installed w/backup camera and SiriusXM antenna. I ordered the products online and was unsure if I ordered correctly. I stopped by the Geek Squad and had them review my order and they confirmed that I did not get the right installation kit. They gave me the correct part number and when everything arrived they installed it w/o issue in less than 2 hours. Very pleased with the install and product.

The Geek Squad installed the car stereo unit I had purchased and had my car ready exactly when they had stated it would be, almost to the second. The installation was clean with no damage to the dash and the car was very clean without any residual dirt or insulation on the floor. They were polite and informative regarding care and use, including synching my phone to the unit via Bluetooth. I would consider using them again.

The agents were very helpful as I was replacing a similar fried unit in my RV. Scheduling was a bit far from purchase, but worth the wait as they accommodated the install out in lot, in RV. Great install, looked factory and even ensured the rear camera was working. In/0ut within timeframe estimate. Definitely take advantage of the free installs when available, even if 3-6 week wait, you'll be thankful.

Great technician! Although he took a minute to get the job get the job done. He was very thorough in his task. Thanks I always use Best Buy for my audio installation cause if I ever sell the vehicle they’ll remove the aftermarket stereo and place the factory one for free! It’s worth it.

Installer was Amazing communicated with me the whole time... they were quick and even with the push out on my date for install made sure when the parts I ordered were not the right kind got me in as soon as the next week to get my stereo and backup camera installed.... I was able to take the stereo they installed in my old vehicle and put it in my new vehicle very satisfied with service!

I had two vehicles get the same radio installed. The install to my car was great! The install to my truck had issues and I’m still waiting to get it resolved. The issues are the dash lights were burned-out and I’m getting engine noise with the radio. The technician showed great concern, has ordered new lights, And is supposed to call when ready to fix. If all goes well I will come back and rate five stars.

I was a little hesitant about taking my car to Best Buy, not because I had heard anything bad but I just didn't know anyone who ever went there for service on their cars. Well I have to say, the guy who worked on my car was extremely knowledgable and I wish I would have consulted him before I purchased the stereo from a third party retailer. Anyway, I would definitely recommend taking your car to Beest Buy. Plus, they quoted the right amount of time it would take, which is always important to me.

The installer did a great job. He called me during installation and let me know what was happening every step of the install and walked me through the operation of my new radio.
