We arrived on time for our appointment and had to wait 30 minutes with two restless kids. This is also after waiting a month for the actual appointment date. The technician, once assigned, was friendly and explained every step to us. The technician’s professionalism is the reason we gave 3 instead of 1 star. Installation is good so far. Clean job. I used geek squad to install my car radio. It took a while to get an appointment but it was right after the holidays and slots were always filled so I expected it would take a while to get an appointment. Finally I was able to get an appointment. (January 8) When I got there the tech told me he didn't have the parts to install my radio and they needed to be ordered. I was frustrated because when I scheduled they knew exactly what type of car I had. The parts promptly arrived and I was able to schedule an installation a week later (January 15) I dropped my car off and it was done in 1 hour, score! While I was driving home I noticed the temperature reader wasn't working. I was already moments from getting home and it was a 30 Min drive back to the Best Buy, I figured I would call the next day because it was late. Then the next day I went to warm my car up and realized I had no heat or AC. I didn't realize that the heat didn't work because it was an unusually warm 60 degree day, heat wasn't needed. It was in the middle of January in the Philadelphia suburbs and it was FREEZING I was extremely annoyed because after I called they said they must had forgotten to plug something in and I would have to come back. I wasn't able to go back until January 20 because the tech was only there from 10:30-5. I went a week with no heat and it was in the dead of winter. I am extremely disappointed with this. I spent more time driving to and from all of these appointments than it actually took to install the part.
