Great install, on time, good communication. All went well.

Great service usually, although this time they lied about my rear speaker grills! They told me that no grills came with the speaker package that I bought! That was a bold face lie! They threw them away because they were too lazy to install them! If they would’ve told me that they were too difficult to install, I would’ve accepted that answer! I looked it up on the internet to see how to install them, and it was difficult. However, always be honest with the customer!!!

The person who installed my stereo was very nice and pleasant. He did a good job with what he was working with, however, someone should have recognized that the trim plate suggested for this installation is garbage. My car can’t be the first and only one to have this problem. This is a fault of management. Someone in charge should have done a quality check at some point and realized that the junky piece of loose plastic ruins the professional installation.

If you are looking for very simple service then buy. But anything more complex I would highly recommend speaking to a live autotech. Don’t speak to any one else even if they work at Best Buy.

Bought as part of a bundle deal. The technician was very helpful and explained what was missing (older car missing brackets and wiring cut away from old stereo). Ordered part from Amazon/EBay. Brought back in and install was completed. Was easy to schedule appointment, but the store I went to seemed to be overwhelmed due to short staffing. Now I have additional problems that I did not have before. The dash lights, hazard, and rear tail lights do not work so I have to troubleshoot radio grounding to see if something got messed up during radio install.

The install done by Best Buy was easy to schedule and they were timely. However immediately following the install - the AC stopped working. Dealer says it was due to the install. Best Buy did not agree. Bottom line - we had to go back and forth between the auto dealer and Best Buy to get it paid for.

I have a 2003 custom van that had a 2008 kenwood deck along with 6 boston acoustic component speakers and 2 15inch JL subs all run by 3 separate amps. one day my 3 amps all quit working at same time no power no lights no nothing. So I decided its a good time to upgrade the deck to a new one so I can use my phone which has all my music etc. So I purchase the best new kenwood deck and schedule appointment to install thinking it would be an easy switch and at the same time they can look at my amps thinking its probably a fuse or something since they also went out at same time. I get there and tell them about the amp problem and even offer them an extra 100 each if they can fix it, They were behind and said they can't do that but they will try and take a look if there is time. 20 minutes waiting they call me and say "are you sure you want us to install this deck since we can't look at the amps? jeez I just drove a hour so ya please install the deck that I have an appointment for lol 2 hours later its done but he says the problem wirth the amps was wires underneath my van corroded . HMMM I didn't even know the wires went under because I followed them and everything was inside along the sides but anyways they some how got one speaker working and jerry rigged the amps somehow to go on but they now overheat and the subs and 4 speakers don't even go on. So maybe I should have not had them even touch the amps. If you can't fix something don't replace my high quality wires with these thin little wires and just jerry ring a 5000 dollar custom system ahhhh so now I have to have the whole thing re wired at a REAL stereo shop. lesson learned free installation is free for a reason lol don't do it people
