    I took my car in to have a new head unit and a speaker installed, I also told him that one speaker slot did not work and I was hoping that they would test and find the problem, so that everything would work. 4 hours later he finely finished and the one speaker slot that didn't work, still doesn't work. He told me that I needed to take it to a mechanic because it may be a fuse or something. Now I am finding out that a microphone was suppose to come with my head unit because it will connect to my phone, no microphone was installed in my car and no microphone was in the box after he installed it. I will not be going back to best buy to get anything installed.

    Took longer than promised after they had to reschedule us due to lack of technicians available. AND we had to go back to the store for the manual and our old radio.

    My car deck was installed angled facing towards the passenger side of my vehicle. Installer did not explain any of the functions. I had to call back to find out that the old stereo was left in my vehicle, along with the owners manual of the new deck.

    have brought in the stereo that I had purchased on Amazon. The tech seemed like he knew what he was doing, but then after hearing from other Best Buy text they all had conflicting stories as to how the stereo should be wired. after all the hassle I went to the dealership to find out it was wired wrong all along. I had a Best Buy technician tell me that my amplifier was bad only to find out it was incorrectly wired at Best Buy. bottom line I couldn't use my stereo until almost a year later when I went to the dealership. I think it's worth noting when I was in Toledo Ohio I called two different best buys and 1 technician told me that the original technician I saw did not even belong in that department.

    The geek squad was courteous however I had to bring my vehicle back the next day and I wasn't happy about that. They fixed the problem in a timely fashion but it shouldn't have happened.

    I thought that all of my speakers were working fine when I went for the new stereo but when they were done the front passenger speaker wasn't working. I had him look at it. He said it was probably the speaker...I thought it was fine but...

    Great service. But if you have to have the system removed by smooth company because your car was totaled and you couldn't wait for an appointment with best buy. You'll have to pay smooth $100 installation fee to have the radio installed in ur new car. Only way you don't pay twice is if best buy actually removed your radio. Im not sure why that matters. But it wasn't our fault we couldn't wait a week out for an appointment. Our insurance was taking the vehicle.

    This is a decent radio for the price and I get my Sirius so that was the main objective. The biggest issues with it are the buttons are small and often hard to find and it is extremely bright when driving at night. Otherwise works well.

    Best buy did a nice job with installation. They had all necessary parts, though a return trip was needed to get AM radio antennae properly done. When said and done, the radio install was very well done at a reasonable cost.

    The geek squad worked us in to install stero whicj was great and tbat it was free was even better!! Having said that my husband had to find the loose connection as it kept dropping the signal

    I set up an installation appointment 2 weeks in advanced, it asked me for my model of car and what accessories I wanted installed, when I arrived for my appointment they told they did not have the parts in stock and had to be special ordered and would be a week, what is the point of asking me what I want installed 2 weeks in advanced if you're gonna wait for me to come in to tell me it's gonna be another week?. Also radio was installed but rear speakers did not work (amp in trunk) I called back and technician told me that radio/harness only worked with 4 speakers only not 6, also the steering controls which I specified I wanted to have done was not done.

    The technician didn’t bother to show me how to operate my new stereo he didn’t inform me that he put my old stereo in my back sit. I kept hear something rolling around in my Bach seat on my ride home. While I was waiting the two technicians was doing a lot of personal talking music playing. The technician that was installing my stereo didn’t bother to turn the TV on in the waiting room. We went to the restroom and never bother to asked me would I like the TV on

    The installer that works at my store tended to work to fast and did a sloppy job. When I got in my vehicle after he was done I noticed that the radio wasn't pushed all the way into the dash, which I fixed later by rearranging the wire harnesses behind the radio. Then he didn't spend anytime to take care of the microphone, the way he ad ran the wire it nearly pinched the wire into, luckily it still works for a brand new thing. I chose to fix the problems myself because he is a sloppy installer and unfriendly too.
