    Damage and wiring issues

    The installer damaged my mirror while backing out of the service bay, the Best-Buy insurance did pay for the damages quickly. The wiring is incorrect--unit does not turn on when in the Accessory position. The installer told me I need to make another appointment to have issue corrected. Seems like this should come before others since it was their fault.

    The car -deck came with a back-up camera. There was no mention of the fact the backup camera would not be installed. It was only after I the service was finished that I found out this was just a Partial install. FEELING QUITE CHEATED.

    I made an appointment over phone then upon arrival they sayid I didn’t have an appointment anymore. Not only that they were very disrespectful when I explained that I lived and hour away and needed the appointment that day before I left town. Mistakes happen but what I didn’t appreciate was how rude they were to me.

    Installation problems

    Installer requested additional $ to correctly install, poor communication and service, very unprofessional. Even after call JVC direct to see if the radio was compatible with our vehicle, which they said it was, the tech could not connect all the buttons. Vehicle was returned to us dirty with parts and tools in it.

    My service is scheduled for December 31, 2020 from 11:30 to 12:30....IT HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH ANYONE! Two days on hold for hours at a time has forced me to come to the store and complain....let's see how this goes

    I didn't realize that my local store did not have the garage for the installation, so I tried to return it. The online option says that I have to go to the store, so I went to the store. The store told me that I had to call the 1-800 number. The 1-800 number told me I had to go to the store. Extraordinarily frustrating.

    After five phone calls trying to speak to a human being, I have given up. All website exploration ends in "call customer support". I'll be canceling this order and the car audio hardware that goes with it, because judging by my careless treatment now, I don't trust the product or the installation service.

    Didn’t get my stereo installed. They couldn’t install it in my 1971 FJ40’ so I got stuck with it and no install. Had to pay another company to install it it in. Thanks Bestbuy !

    Install barely started, then given up

    This was the paid install part of a CD/radio + several pieces of wiring harness for my car, to fix a busted CD/radio. One piece of harness didn't fit as promised, so whole install abandoned, with all costs refunded to me, at least. My problem was unsolved, and I wasted two weeks' time. Very disappointed.

    Customer service were not nice to me. For 3 months they had me coming back & forth just to change a car stereo, & whenever I come to the customer service desk is a different story from the workers.

    Installed poorly. Broke driver's seat, ac console light not working and system does not work!

    Had car stereo installed. Stereo is great. During install the bezel in my Chev s10 was cracked. The tech just offered to tape it. Unfortunately I let it go. It turns out the part is hard to find and costs more than I thought it would. Would definitely rethink another install at best buy

    Waited an hour, never got installed

    After waiting an hour you’d think that maybe they could do it the next after telling me they would, never got the call they said they would give. I’m guessing I have to pay an extra $90 just to get it installed not very happy...

    New stereo NO Heater!!!

    Had a radio installed today in my 2006 Subaru outback. On my way home live 50miles from bestbuy in the mtn’s I found my heater controls no longer work. The low tonight is 24f.

    It was told to me (by a technician) after the sale of my pioneer that I couldn't use my factory subwoofers and that a special wire isn’t something they would have to wire in to my car.
