Steven and Isaac (this might not be his name) are awesome. Did a tremendous job putting in the radio. Unfortunately I am not happy with the radio. I know there were other options available but BB in audio did not offer them to me at the time. Very disappointed but don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. Too bad for me.

I bought a Clarion bluetooth radio off of Amazon for a great price, and went to Best Buy for a cheap install. Without steering controls, the install came to a total of $90 which is a steal compared to other quotes I received of $400 or more. Best Buy only took about 45 minutes to do the install and everything works as planned. The only thing wrong is that I now get a ton of static when using my radio tuner, but this may be the fault of the radio and not the installers. All in all, good deal and great upgrade.

The techs did a really great job. Really clean and professional looking. Shop was in great shape as well. Only complaint is that they took ALOT longer than estimated. Thankfully I had someone pick me up instead of waiting since their 1 hour estimate turned in to many hours. I was told that it was a previous install that set them back on getting mine started, but either way, grrr. Just plan to drop off the vehicle and go to lunch or something. Everything else was worth the wait.

The staff went beyond my expectations not only with the installation but also in resolving some internal snafus that could have delayed the process. The work was completed to my satisfaction precisely as stated. After some time had passed since the installation, I was still able to get questions answered by the technician on functionality. One of the the best if not the best service situations that I have experienced!

Something in my gut told me not to have the "Geek Squad" install my new stereo and, well, you know what they say about listening to your gut... I went to the Torrance, CA location off the PCH and was helped by an awesome salesperson who wasn't afraid to admit not having the answers to some of my questions; we found them together, which was fine with me. He was a rock and roller so his take on car stereos and speakers from more of a personal performance angle than technical one helped me make my decision. I purchased an Alpine CD Built In Bluetooth Car Stereo Receiver (CDE-143BT) and Alpine 612" 2Way Coaxial Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones Pair Black (SPE-6000). He recommended the "Geek Sqaud" and I was charged $69.99 and $59.99 (respectively) for the install. Of course, I had to wait a week due to them being "booked" (how many could there possibly be??) so I went back the following Saturday (today) after my purchase. I pull to the back, and the gentleman looks at my car and tells me that there's an "amplifier" in it and, because of that, he would have to either charge me an additional $90 or $150 depending if he could "bypass" it or "integrate" (he wasn't sure which one). He then said no matter what I chose, I would lose the center woofer in the back which sounded pretty ridiculous to me. I then told him it wasn't worth $300 - $400 for a stereo/speaker install if he wasn't sure what he was doing and/or if I was going to lose a speaker, so I left. I drove down the street to an audio specialist and he walked me through the entire process and explained every single thing (with pictures) they would have to do to install my radio and speakers. His quote was probably cheaper (it was a complete package price with parts and labor) than Best Buy but I agreed because of the time he took to actually explain the install process and what was needed AND - guess what - I wouldn't lose my rear woofer which, he admitted, sounded equally ridiculous to him. At least with THAT install I knew what I was paying upfront - at BB, it was, "It's either going to be this much or this much, I don't yet, plus parts, I don't know yet, please sign here and we'll start to work on your car and we'll find out together how much we're going to drain your wallet at the end." So - I go back and get a refund from BB for the install and the clerk was very, very nice. She said she had to call the installer to verify that they work wasn't done (very, very fair) and he couldn't remember who I was despite the fact that I was back there only 30 minutes prior, there was only two guys working and NO cars were waiting. She gave my name, order # and FINALLY when she said the make/model of my car he confirmed they didn't do it. I was refunded and the manger (who I spoke to when I purchased the radio) asked me about the service - I told him I was getting it installed somewhere else because I didn't think the "Geek Squad" knew what they were doing. He asked for more info, so I told him the story and he politely apologize for not being able to help me, which I found odd since I told him I was just at an audio store who said they could and my problem isn't a problem. Moral of the story? If you get a good deal at Best Buy, purchase the equipment but do not let any of the misinformed and under skilled "technicians" anywhere near your car. Leave it to the pros.

Geek squad did an awesome job on my installation. I was in and out in about 20 minutes!! I definitely expected close to an hour wait but when I got there he pulled my car right in and got it done! Also took the time to show me a few basic functions and Answer a few questions. Never felt rushed on annoying! Recommend the Towson location for sure!

THIS INSTALLATION WAS QUICKER THAN WAS ESTIMATED AND THE WORKMANSHIP IS OF VERY HIGH QUALITY.

Although everything is working, I was charged for services/items I should not have been charged for, was never discussed prior to service. In addition, the techs failed to instruct me on how to operate new system. Genevieve (? Manager) did infancy agree with me and corrected the problems!

It takes 1:30 hours to complete but it looks and works good

Geek Squad installed an after market radio to replace an old radio that no longer worked. Service was quick, professional, and really helpful when picking out a new unit.

I needed to replace the factory radio in an older Subaru and received excellent guidance to meet the need without breaking the bank. The installer listened to my timeframe and made me an appointment at another store to accommodate. The installation went seamlessly and my daughter was thrilled with the radio. Highly recommend.
