First off I just want to say I wished for a peaceful resolution to the problem that Best buy created it started with about an hour long chat on Best buy website with their chat service trying to find the best stereo and speakers for my car after being transferred several times and spending about an hour trying to gain information and knowledge and purchase a car stereo system unfortunately resulted in no information after being on hold for several times transfer several times I decided to go to Amazon to pick up a car stereo to be installed at Best buy at a later date I made sure that the car stereo that I picked up from Amazon was Amazon certified for my car and that the stereo would be able to be controlled through the steering wheel, I also proceeded to buy the PAC rp5- gm31 this interface should be able to control OnStar retention steering wheel control retention navigation outputs for my GM specific vehicle I proceeded to make an appointment with Best buy through their Best buy app which was a month out. So I get to the date that that I drive an hour and 40 minutes there arrive at 9:30 via the email they sent me to be there a half an hour early at my 10:00 appointment but when I get there the store I find out is not open till 11:00 and their service department doesn't open till 10:00 so I sit on my car for 25 minutes waiting for service finally at 5 till10:00 the gentleman comes out and lets me know that he'll be pulling my car in for service to get a car radio installation. But I'm not able to wait there I'm not able to go on to the store because the store is not open till 11:00 so I have to go somewhere else, I proceeded to go to village inn have breakfast came back after they called me and said it was done I proceeded to pay for it and after I paid for it he proceeded to tell me that my steering wheel controls are not working with the stereo and that they always have problems with stereos that are purchased outside of Best buy I was upset but I didn't make a scene I was nice to the guys paid for the service drove an hour and 40 minutes home to think about the whole situation call the store the next day got the GM manager I told him how situation he said there is nothing he could do for me now I mind you this was a Friday appointment I could have been working and making overtime for 31 bucks an hour for 6 hours on Friday but I didn't I went to this appointment with fully expecting my car steering wheel to be able to control my stereo but all I got was install of a stereo. I don't know if they're trying to do a switch and bait but it sounded a lot like that trying to get me by a Best buy stereo.

Had our head units installed at the Glendora store and the installer was awesome. Did a fantastic job on both of my cars.
