2003 Mercedes CLK 500. Damaged my dash lower kick panels to the extent I had to purchase replacement parts from eBay that do not match my interior color. The installer said he noted on the ticket the panels were already cracked/broken, although that is not my recollection and he denied responsibility. Then I noticed after leaving the store that the SRS (air bag) system was reporting a malfunction. There was no malfunction prior to the installation. Took it to my mechanic to diagnose the code and was told it was coming from the dash and likely was caused by the tech. I mentioned this in 3 follow phone calls to the store before receiving an email from the tech telling none of the damage or the SRS malfunction was his fault. How can I trust the same technician to go back into the dash to double-check his work to look for broken or disconnected wires with this attitude? Extremely poor quality of work and total lack of concern from the Best Buy managers I discussed these issues with.
