Installer at Cerritos Town Center Best Buy did a fantastic job!

I had to make two appointments for the installation. At my first appointment, I was told that they did not have all the parts in stock so I had to order them online. The install guy printed a list of parts I needed to order. So I made my next appointment for 10 days later. When I arrived for my second appointment, I had all of the parts from the list the install guy gave me. I showed him my parts and then he tells me. "You don't need those RCA cables, you need these and they are $35. Oh, you only have one amp, you need two." I showed him the print out he gave me 10 days before and he said, "I put those RCA cables on here for pricing I didn't want you to buy them. I didn't put the second amp on here because I thought it would be too much money for you." He then said, "If you want to do the install today, you'll have to buy another amp for $150 and pay for the installation of the second amp which is $80. So that's $160 since I have to install two amps. So these speaker wires are $35 and then you need another set of RCA cables for $16 because the ones you have are too long." I spoke to the manager and he was no help. So I return everything I purchased from BestBuy and went somewhere else. They say free installation on the radio but then they want to up-sell you a bunch of other stuff. I understand that I needed the extra stuff, but don't give me a list of things to order and then when I show up for my installation add another $281 to the cost.

The installation of the car stereo is incomplete and have to return a fifth time and another part have to re-ordered. Technician told me he would explain the problem when I arrive to pickup my vehicle. I advised the technician I would arrive at 5:30PM. Upon my arrival at 5:30pm the Installation department had closed early. No one was there to return my vehicle nor give an explanation as to what went wrong during the installation process. I had to go to the front of the store to the service department and request a supervisor to get my vehicle. The service of installing the car stereo and backup camera has been poor, unprofessional and irresponsible on the behalf of Bestbuy. We have been customers for years. We buy all our electronics such as laptops and cameras etc from this store. But this car stereo and backup camera purchase has been an absolute nightmare. Who would have thought a purchase would go so bad as having to return 4 times and still have to return again to resolve the same issue. If I could rate this experience correctly it would not have a star at all.

Works as expected, would probably purchase again when I am the market for another radio
