Car Audio Installation Customer Service SUCKS.

Two weeks ago, I purchased a car stereo receiver and the installation for my Jeep. When I found out that only two places in my area actually install anymore, and that they are both booked out for two months, I decided to cancel. I easily cancelled my stereo purchase. There is NO WAY TO CANCEL YOUR INSTALLATION. I've tried on line. I've called customer service five times, wasted hours of my life trying to get my $129.99 back. I went to a store and the manager rudely told me that since I didn't purchase this installation at his store, he couldn't help me. THIS IS MISERABLE. Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase anything that requires an installaion from Best Buy.

Disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been a Best Buy customer almost my entire life and most the time they are great. This most recent experience with them has been frustrating to say the least. I scheduled an appointment to get my new car stereo installed 3 weeks out to make sure they had all the pieces they needed. Day of installation comes and they are missing a piece to complete the installation which results in me having no back up cam. What happened between scheduling the appointment and the actual appointment? They had 3 weeks to prepare. They knew the car I had and the stereo I was installing, they should of had everything ready to go. So, they tell me the part they need will take 3-4 days to get to the store and that they’ll call me when it arrives. 4 days go by, no call. So I call them to see if they have the piece yet but after trying several different routes in the automated phone system, nobody answers the phone and I cannot get ahold of anybody at this location. So I go to the store and they inform me the part will not be there for another 3 days. On top of that, the install bay will be closed 2 days on top of that, so earliest they’ll call me in 5 days to schedule appointment to finish the job. We confirm my number and I leave disappointed. They call me back in 5 days, on the wrong number (my wife’s phone) and leave me a number to call to reschedule. I’ve called several times and nobody answers the phone, and yes I checked to make sure I’m calling during store hours. I’m not even able to leave a message. So now I will have to drive down there again to see if we can figure this out. I bought my new stereo over a month ago and it’s still not working properly. As mentioned above, this has been a beyond disappointing experience and I would not recommend this service to any of my friends.
