Geek squad did a great job installing my stero in my Nissan Altima.

I had Vero Beach Best Buy install a new car radio I bought from them. The good news is the radio works perfectly. The bad news is Best Buy's installer broke my car's air conditioning when putting in the radio. Really wish I could leave five stars, but I'm not satisfied.

The install looked very professional and clean.very satisfied

I had to make some alterations but the installation was average. I had to make several post modifications to my dashboard before being totally satisfied.

What I thought would be a nice free installation that came with my new Sony aftermarket radio turned into a three trip nightmare. First trip was the radio installation but they technician didn’t have time to install the steering wheel controls and asked me to return 2 weeks later to have them installed. I figured that was a given service needed to fully enjoy my new radio but I didn’t tell them up front about needing this so I’ll take the blame on that one. The second trip was suppose to be to install the steering wheel controls but the adapter they sold 2 weeks earlier was not the correct adapter needed for my car. We find this out after wasting another trip and 1.5 hours with a trial and error installation. So the technicians orders a different adapter that will work for sure in my car since it’s made specifically for my make/model. Why was this adapter not ordered in the first place? Who knows? With new adapter ordered another appointment was scheduled for me to return another week. The third installation was done today with steering wheel controls now working BUT now I noticed that a corner of the harness that keeps my radio in place to the dash is now popping out. This wasn’t an issue the other two previous times so it looks like I’ll be making a FOURTH trip. TLDR: don’t trust the FREE Geek Squad service that may come with your new purchase. These technicians don’t do any research prior to appointments and may end up wasting your time and money on multiple trips. Just go to a professional stereo installation shop and get what you pay for.

You would think buying an item at Best Buy would come with free install or a percentage off the install. I dropped my truck off the night before the install date per the technicians request and it still took him all day

Good quick job. Everything happened as they said it would.

The installer was nice, but could not get the steering wheel controls to work. I had the unit removed and Factory system put back. They would not refund the install fee and charged me for parts. Considering I bought the parts they asked for and they told me it would work when it did not they would not refund my money. The manager (who is arrogant and not really nice) told me what did I expect? Aftermarket stuff is not 100% compatible. Sorry, but that needed to be disclosed prior to the install.
