Unavailable Stereo Installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered the $99 stereo installation online and received the email with the code and instructions how to proceed to making an appointment. When Followed the instructions online, the message pops up saying that the selected store is booked more than two weeks out and try other stores. I tried all three Best Buy locations in my area and they were all booked more than two weeks out. It instructed me to call the store and make arrangements to be scheduled. The next available appointment was about five weeks out and the lady on the phone said that the installation usually runs about $250-$300 after parts are included. I left my phone number for somebody in the Geek Squad to call me back and after a week, nobody had called back. My Wife made a phone call asking about scheduling and they said they would have somebody from the Geek Squad call back and again, nobody called her back either. Cancelled the order and was refunded my money. The website should have some indication of how soon the installation could be performed before a buyer purchases it online.

Terrible Communication!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I arrived at the store to get my radio installed but because i was missing a part that i wasn't aware of. The tech gave me his card and told me to call him when i got the part and he would get me in that day. I called the number on this guy's business card 3 times and he never answered. I called the store twice and was transferred to the tech department where no one answered the phone. I ended up getting a refund and had to get my radio installed somewhere else.

Best Buy Blows

Called local store to get someone that couldn’t communicate in English. Spent 45 minutes for them to reschedule and tell me they couldn’t reach the store but left them a voicemail to call me. Went to store to confirm only to be told customer service was also the checkout and return line. Waited 30 minutes in line on crutches before leaving.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.sales and install department should communicate better. waited two weeks for an install appointment just to get there for the tech to say i need to re-schedule because wrong install type was flagged. job i was flagged for was quoted an hour but actual tech said it would be 1 hour and 45 minutes. also told wiring harness could potentially be wrong. that doesn't make sense to me since the part numbers provided was directly from the best buy computers. ended up just cancelling the whole thing and returning all the hardware. will look elsewhere

Ridiculous wait, bad attitude
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still waiting for the installation to get done... on the day it was supposed to get done (2 weeks after it was bought) the installation guy called in and the manager called me when I was already on my way to get it done... rescheduled for another 2 weeks out, because they couldn’t fit me in on another day that was convenient. I told the manager I was disgusted and he didn’t even care... just spoke over me and said the installer would call me the next day. I had to call them, because apparently the guy never had a break to call. Really?!? A 2 minute call! I will never get another thing that has to be installed from Best Buy!

Worst service ever

First of all it would not let me select my instal location prior to paying. Which would have saved me the folllowing 3 hours of trying to get my money back after finding out that my local Best Buy no lo get did instals. Worst customer service ever. Just passed back and forth for hours of time wasted trying to get my money back.

Time Wasters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They were totally clueless on how to install a stereo receiver in my Ford truck. And was a big big waste of time. I purchased the unit from BB and they setup an appointment 8 days later for what i thought was installation day, but it was only a 15 min. consultation to my surprise. So they looked at the truck and said that it was not in their system and that they could not install but another location could. 7 days later that location said the same thing. So a couple weeks later and still not installed. Went to Sound Crafters and a week later I'm loving my new system. Skip BB for installation.

Frustrating and disappointing

Rescheduled for a busy Saturday and the technician kept being called into the store to help customers. Two hour install took almost six hours while I waited. Technician installed a radio that was three times the price of the one I was advised by Geek squad to purchase. Radio does not work. So disappointed. Next week I try again…. Frustrating experience!
