    Dont fall for free install

    No service rendered... They advertise free installation to get you in the store.. then they schedule installation bout 2 1/2 to 3 months out.. most are gonna buy the item at a higher price since their already at there and then go somewhere else for installation, not wanting to wait that long.. with installation, i nearly payed for the item twice.. absolute scam

    I scheduled a radio install after waiting two months for an appointment and after two hours wait time yesterday, it couldn’t be installed. I’m a two hour drive from Newport News. The installer asked me to order a part from Amazon, which I did, and said I needed to make a three hour appointment next time.

    Install gone wrong

    After having a deck installed on my Mini Cooper I was impressed with Russell so ordered a replacement for me X5. I waited 6.5 hours on the install paid an additional $150 in part with $100 of it in labor (which was supposed to be included) and my steering wheel controls now don't work. They did when I brought it in with the factory stereo. I've been calling the store since I left and am currently on hold waiting for my call to be answered (35 minutes!) This is ridiculous. We were bringing in the M3 and Boxter for stereos now that's never happening. Fix my install.

    Installer Refused to do the work/ Not Refunded

    My appointment for the install was made 9 days in advance. The installer called me an hour and a half before the appointment time to tell me he doesn't have all the parts to do the work and will need to order them. I go in to speak to him in person and he wants me to purchase an additional $550 worth of parts so that he can install it. I told him those parts weren't necessary, as I was familiar with the install process. He told me the best buy computer told him those parts are necessary and refused to do the install without them. When I spoke to a manager about refunding me for the install, since I never received the service, they told me that the install was part of a bundle deal that I got on black Friday and they couldn't refund me for just the install. They refused to credit me the value of the install and now I am forced to go somewhere else and pay more money out of pocket.

    I first it looked like a great job but my rear defrost no longer worked and the didn’t hoop up my usb cable at all very disappointing

    My appointment was scheduled for 1:15 pm and I was told he was finishing up on another appointment. I was told it may be about two hours fir the completion of my vehicle. I figured it would be ten or twenty minutes at most until they would start my car. It wasnt until 3pm before my vechile started to get worked on. Now it's 5pm so I asked the manager could she find out how much more time was needed. I was told about two more hours. My appointment was at 1:15pm and I didn't get my car until 6:45pm. Talk about a disappointing day.

    Geek squad installed my car stereo system. However, they gave me no instructions or general review of how to work it. Last 2 times I've been there with installs the customer service was fantastic. Must be under different management.

    Install was great but missed the mark..

    First, the installation came out amazing. the problems come from before. I was sold and amp bypass for $55 with purchase of my head unit. Was told by multiple employees this was a must have. When arriving for installation was told that this was completely unnecessary. My appointment was set to take an hour and forty five minutes. 2 hours later i get called into the service room and told the original unit I purchased was broken and i had two options since they didn't have that radio in stock. Leave a hold in my dash or pay another $100 for a better unit! $100 unexpected dollars later my "newer" radio was installed. The installation itself looks amazing and the instal crew was phenomenal. I'm just really disappointed in how to situation was handled by best buy.

    Geek squad installed my sons stereo in his car

    They put the usb port in the glove box. That is probably the dumbest spot for it. Why not put it outside on the fender. Or maybe in the trunk. Now have to drive with glove box opened. Why couldn’t they hook it up to the exiting spot that the usb port is now. Kinda lame. I’m sure that’s how everyone’s car is now. Driving around with the glove box opened

    1. The services reported as a completed one here, but it's not even provided yet! 2. The service plan includes the receiver only, while it was bought along with a back view camera as well. 3. I picked up items on Jan 14 and they are returnable until Jan 29. And my installation appointment is scheduled for Jan 30. In case something wrong - I can't have a chance for return. On the pick-up, nobody even mentioned that! 4. People on chat services can't help a thing. They sent me today to contact the store. 5. You have to have some strong nerve to be patient to reach the store @Kings Plaza, Brooklyn NY.

    I purchased a stereo for my son for his Jeep as a birthday gift on 4/24/2020. Because of COVID installations were delayed. Which I totally understand...we had 3 different install dates that were canceled. Finally we have a 4 (replete) date of June 22, 2020 at 10am in the Deptford, NJ location. Yah...finally he’s getting his system installed.. at least that’s what we thought. My son arrived 15 minutes later just like instructed to be told that the appointment was canceled. As he was had the equipment and sent on him way. With no explanation of what happened or a new appointment time. I still can’t get a hold of anyone to fix thing problem. No one answers the phone at the store. Please email back to fix this issue

    Radio install

    Best Buy was helpful in getting my radio installed but the Bluetooth and the microphone do not work. I tired to call in to schedule them to fix it but I was on hold for over 40 min and gave up

    I got a head unit installed and they asked if I wanted to keep my steering wheel controls to interface with it. It was an extra $50 just for the installation plus the price of the adapter I needed. I wish this installation came with the head unit installation without additional cost.
