    Got talked out of alpine I bought into Kenwood --store repsaid it easier to use and latest tech--said Alpine was old tech ---the radio is a nightmare to use functions upset I am stuck with it ! Huge mistake !

      Hi Globaltom – Our Autotech should have given you a demo of you new stereo after you install. Please reach back out to your local Best Buy to set up a time to come back in to get that demo. If you still don’t like the functions on the stereo, we can then discuss a potential exchange.

    Sticky substance to hold washers/bracket

    Left my car to get radio installed, was told that I will get called within a hr. After 1.5 hrs I called was advised all ready. Picked up car on the way home noticed rear speakers didn’t work. Came back and was told to come back in few days for corrections. Came back tech fixed the issue. Went home not once front frame loose. Came to find out it was held on some caulk which never dried. Work done very unsatisfactory. The only reason I had them do it as it was part of the radio deal. Lesson learned.

    Installation Blunder

    I set the appointment and waited over a week to get installation just to be told when I arrived to my appointment that the in dash stereo couldn’t be done. A complete waste of my time and money.

    The fact that I can't talk to someone at the store is completely ridiculous. I had to drive 35 minutes each way to have my 2013 Ford Mustang rescheduled for a radio install. and the call center was useless. This has caused me to reconsider making purchases from Best Buy.

    The radio audio did not work and Best Buy replaced the unit. The second unit had the same issue. I have been into the store 6 times and our car audio only works about half the time. The screen works and Apple CarPlay displays. Best Buy has not been able to solve the issue and our car audio still does not work.

    We ended up not using geek squad to install a car radio. It took several weeks to get an appointment. They also would not install without first purchasing over $300 in additional parts for the installation. Kind of defeats the free installation.

    Install crew did a great job, but poor communication between sales and install team. Was not told of appropriate time to drop off vehicle and the. Crew didn’t want to install. Poor communication.

    Radio and back up camera installation

    I paid for a back up camera to get installed. When I picked up the truck the technician informed me that he uninstalled it because he didn’t think it looked good. I told him I didn’t care what he thought I wanted the camera. He then told me his next available appointment was in 3 months. Oh and the radio he put in didn’t work I had to fix it myself. Worst $400 I ever spent

    Ok I go in to buy a new car radio unit for 160.48(149.99 plus tax) but when they brought up the free installation after purchase,I was ready for them to install it asap...but when they told me it would be in January for them to get to me,I think they are totally lying because they know there's a time limit for free installation even when you schedule for it and play the wait in line game...and I try to install it myself,and guess what,it.. does not work... thanks geek squad,I appreciate the love you shown me today...not!!!!

    Two mechanics whom I dealt with were kind; however, poor communication skills; both of them told me to reached out to their direct number for any assistance, neither of them has called me back as yet.

    Bought a nice radio. Was excited to have it installed, waited over a week for the appointment. Showed up 10 minutes early to check in. I have Waited 30 minutes past the appointment time, was told they couldn't install it on appointment day and I had to reschedule. Returned the radio and parts. After shuffling around my work schedule to make the appointment. Normally I don't get angry, but this is ridiculous. I'll never spend another dime at best buy I gave you one star because I didn't have a choice. I don't ask for much, but keep appointments and do your job right.

    Geek squad installed but there was damage

    Install was done quickly and professionally but they did damage my dashboard leaving rips and cracks in the plastic.

    I haven’t gotten my radio to work yet I came in and they didn’t let me buy the wiring harness and schedule me a different day and never said anything

    I am sure I could have given them 5 stars if they actually would have done the installation. We showed up with 2 cars to have radios and back up cameras installed to find out their installer wasn't going to be a work that day. They said they called to cancel or reschedule our appointments but I obviously didn't receive a call or voicemail from them to cancel. Very disappointed that the lack of care for my time was not considered when they didn't call me or leave a message.

    About what you expect from big box store

    Install was was ok, nothing special, not everything works biggest reason so negative review is the fact that I ordered a backup camera with the head unit and installation package and they refused to even plug it in and let me finish that (no option to buy install for camera FYI) . Wanted me to pay $150-$175 to make another appointment to have them uninstall what they were about to install and plug the camera in, when the camera itself was only $100.

    First of all, my stereo hasn't been installed due to the incompetence of the Burleson store. I scheduled installation on 6/19 to be done 7/13. Showed up to have it installed to be informed they have no one to install and haven't for a month or more. wow- so a month goes by and no one can contact me?? Now I have to wait another 2 weeks till 7/27 and go to Fort Worth to get it done. To say I am angry is an understatement. Not even an offer of some sort of refund for the waiting and trouble. DO NOT USE BURLESON STORE!

    Inconvenient, Poor Communication, & Overall Awful

    Well, to start, they didn’t install my new stereo. My appointment was rescheduled three times and, when I finally thought we had found a time that would work, I drive 45 minutes to the Henrietta, NY Best Buy store only to find out that they cancelled all installations last minute. I received NO call and was given no assistance in finding another installer. By far the worst two month customer service experience i’ve had to deal with
