Terrible installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They installed my stereo and forgot to connect the over-head screen and the hdmi cable! Also i bought a couple of screens to mount in the headrest and the answer is that they don't do that or dont know how to do it! So my question to best buy is why you are selling this screens! This is pretty anoying cause i waited 7 months to get the installation appointment at secaucus location and after all i can not return those screens

Installer charged me with no install

He took my truck apart and told me he could not complete the work. Installer and Manager charged me $50 for custom labor and no radio. Waste of time waste of money installer could have said up front he could not install radio.

Radio Installation was Horrible

I waited for 3 hours at this store just to be told that no one had been working on my car the entire time. On top of that, no one was working on my car because they were trying to fix the car of the person ahead of me. During the process of trying to install her radio, HER CAR WOULDN’T START! It was ridiculous. I would absolutely never return to this store.

Terrible Customer Service

We have an appointment to get it installed but we just picked it up. I have been on hold for 4 and a half hours trying to fix this problem. I have had no luck whatsoever getting ahold of someone. This will be my last purchase ever at Best Buy.

“Free Install” doubled price from $150 to $400

Unit was Advertised for $150 with that free installation, but I paid over $400 since it was my son’s Christmas present, and my son was standing next to me as I paid for this “free installation.”

Not happy with half functional equipment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took 3 hours to install stereo, then I find out that my steering wheel controls don’t work anymore and was told that I need to buy another adapter and pay $130 in order for them to function again. They worked fine when I brought my car in. I should’ve been made aware of this when I brought my car to them

Do not get installed in Florence SC

I had an pioneer in dash radio installed. There was an hissing noise that came from the speakers after the tech installed the radio. When I asked him about the hissing noise he told me bc I have a new radio that is what caused the noise which is un true. I went to another dealer which took 5 mins to tell me it was a ground loop and they fixed the problem within 10 mins.

Not so good service

I paid to have the best material to connect the receiver in the car, with steering wheel interface. For my surprise, after 10 days of the installation, the receiver installed by these service, started to have the screen turn on & off as I was driving. It is so annoying that makes me stop the car , so it can stop doing it.

Was never performed

I was ok with this understanding the situation. Since then, the stores have reopened but no-one reached out to me. Then I check my order status and it says this was completed which of course it never was. I have the parts at my desk. No one answers their phones and I feel like I have $600 worth of nothing.

The store that sold parts was clueless

I kept insisting that I needed different parts... but no the customer is never right and their all knowing computer clearly knows better. I get to install day.... guess what who was wrong, the sales people at the Sandy store. We had to reschedule the install and order new parts. I guess the redeeming Justice is Best Buy lost a slot they could have made money but didn’t....

Not Happy

I checked all the inputs and I still heard it. The radio wasn’t a quarter of the way up and heard the crackling. I was already on the highway and did not feel like going back. I know have to waste my time for another appointment. Not happy!!!!!!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this certificate was given to me free of charge since i bought accessories as a bundle but then they let me know i would have to wait a minimum of 30 days for an installer to be trained, 30 days for a product to be installed doesnt make sense, i installed it myself, didnt recieve any services but the lack of installers is just lame and deserves a review

Wouldn't recommend

Dashboard had to be reinstalled correctly and they broke molding clips and didn't have any to replace them. So the molding by my foot keeps falling off.

Failure to install car radio!

And they said that they only had one or two installers in all of Maryland. They didn't seem to care that they did not carry through with installing my radio. I'm very disappointed in The Geek Squad and in Best Buy for this!

Geek Squad does not communicate with you!

I don't see the appointment date anywhere on the receipt or order details. I call to reschedule, but the "extremely high call volume" wants me to wait forever. I got my daughter this for Christmas and it's been nothing but trouble so far.

Horrible Phone Service

I found it impossible to actually talk to someone in the store. The people I talked to sounded like the people from India trying to sell something they knew nothing about. They ended up losing business from their lack of knowledge. Not in Best buy's favor. I'll never buy from them again.
