    Installation technician did not want to even work with the car since it didn’t have any original connections to get it connected to the radio. These guys only want easy connections to plug and play!! If it’s like that don’t even get installation, so called free installation, it’s not wanting me to pay almost 600 dollars for my installation, that’s a rip-off!!

    I was told I would only be charged $5.00 for installation which coming to find out I was charged 99.00 and on top of the person working sold me wrong products and so I had to buy more parts for my car stereo. Now I'm out the hold for more money because of the wrongful information I got, now I have to wait another week to go back to get the main part of my stereo to work. I'm so unhappy with the service I have received.

    had my install appointment canceled on me. Would not work with me on moving me to the next available day and had to take an appointment 3 weeks later. Thank you best buy for ruining my daughter's christmas gift. Calling their customer service phone number is a joke.

    Audio install was supposed to be included with the purchase of my total tech membership. I am extremely upset that they wanted to bill over $300 to install a head unit. I found the same materials needed for only $120 - dash kit, plug and play connectors for steering wheel buttons.

    Met with a sales person who helped me understand what was required. I ordered and scheduled a 90 minute appointment for installation. Installer worked 30 minutes and told me I would need to buy a $600 add on for it to work in my car. I told him I could not afford that and he charged me $99 for nothing. No radio and $99 poorer but will not be back.

    My service has not been completed. It is not even my install date yet but someone marked it complete. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone at the store. I call multiple times a day and nobody ever picks up. Even after 20 minutes on hold. I think I should just return the stereo and find somewhere else.

    I've had to return to best buy 3-4 times due to unit not working properly. Unit powers off when the volume is turned up to a certain level. The tech doing the install tried a couple options but it's still happening. Only step left is to send the unit back to Kenwood. Not looking forward to that. Once I get it back and have reinstalled I will update review.

    I was told this service was included with the purchase of the radio. what was not mentioned is that there would be a pile of extra parts and additional charges

    Geek squad told me I was stupid

    Did not help with install advice. Asked for in car advice as I was installing, was told no. Was not given correct parts at beginning of install. Was told to deal with it and splice cables. Told I was wrong about my own car. Was told to “military splice my cables” to make it work.

    A very disappointing experience. I asked to confirm the expected results; it took me asking each item to learn that they would not be restoring the existing back up camera link, steering wheel controls, bluetooth connectivity, and all this would require another 4 hours on another day in 1 months time, at the cost of an extra $200.

    Don’t go to Best Buy off rainbow and 215. They put my rear view camera backwards. And face plate off stereo on dash is already falling off

    I'm rating this poorly because at the time of purchase it did not say anywhere on the webpage that you could not return it. I had bought this and then decided to do the total tech option but they would not refund this until 4 hours of arguing with them. Still awaiting that refund.

    I was sure to let the installer know that my car has a factory subwoofer, and I was clear I wanted that hooked up. He assured me it would be hooked up. It wasn't. I know it worked fine with the factory radio. I'm really disappointed that I paid 100 bucks and got screwed.

    I was told the radio needed a 95$ harness to install or the tech could connect it and I would have to manually turn off the radio. I agreed to second option. it didn't work.. the radio drained my battery even when it was turned off. I ended up with a dead battery and unable to drive my car till they fixed it. . they put the old radio back in and offered no compensation at all..

    They never installed it. The installed didnt want to install the stereo so he said it wasnt safe. I had to take it to a professional and he installed it no problem. Best buy installation is a joke.

    Told this car stereo was in stock to Folsom. Drove 2 hrs to pick up. Told by staff didn’t have, hadn’t had for over a year. Service install was helpful as always but very disappointed
