    Geek squad installed my touchscreen video

    Got it installed and on time. That’s what the star is for. The stereo system worked great. After it was installed realized that I t disengaged my remote car starter. But I realized too late. So that’s on me. I would recommend geek squad because it’s free with purchase, but be careful.

    Service was horrible. Dropped off vehicle day prior to appointment. Went next day to pick up and vehicle wasn’t touched. Had to have manger let me in to pick up vehicle and they want to call back and try to reschedule in a few weeks. No communication on my vehicle, just lots of wasted time.

    They installed my head unit broke the dash hardware didnt replace it left it like that then something aint wired up right or the unit is bad because when i receive a phone call through my unit it shuts off and restarts itself

    There was a problem immediately, I took it back. Now, I discover the Bluetooth was not done at all, and now I can’t get a hold of a real person to get it taken care of, I get offered a new appointment weeks out. Will absolutely never be using Best Buy again.

    Not a place to go if you have a problem with your system, I install a radio and steering wheel control and the guy was struggling with it, if you want real car audio install go to a car audio shop that will be the best call!!

    Starting a few weeks after the installation of a CD player, our vehicle started having weird electrical issues and over next 3 months several dead batteries. Our mechanics traced the issue back to our recently installed CD player.

    The installer did not reconnect me audio connector for my dashboard. As a result, I do not get any audio indication of my turn signals, my low fuel indicator, etc. Not pleased with this quality of installation. I wish that he was more diligent.

    Last year I purchased a Kenwood double din radio unit (~$325), wire/SW control module (~$100), and harness ($35). The Kenwood unit did not have navigation capabilities so I purchased a Pioneer NEX model and had Best Buy install, which was great up until I noticed that they charged me $35 for a new harness and just used the one I had already purchased before.

    Sent everything back for a refund. I don’t have anything else to add except there were too many mixups. I decided that this was the best thing to do.

    An original 2 hour installation. Had to call and make an appointment to get it looked at 4 days after it was installed. An hour later they said they found nothing wrong. The next day i was bavk again for same issue and for them to reconnect the fan crontrols. So 4 hours of my life waisted and the manager said "sorry".

    Bad help spends Hr's on phone for callbacks and then the help can not fix it and you have to wait for the 2Nd callback for a TEC. and he makes it worse and you have to pay for a good TEC. or get a new computer do not get Geek Squad service for computers not worth the money or time on the phone.

    had a radio installed, had it replaced bc it sounded aweful after the install, which was very nice - it sounds fine when it works. and now 2 weeks later i am still having problems and things have been shorting out since i had the install. example, wifi no longer works in the car where it plugs in, and cigarette lighters are now out, so i cant charge things.

    Bought a radio through another company then bought the Best Buy installation. When I went to install it the tech set everything up then put the radio in and it didn't turn on. He said it must have been a faulty radio. So I order a new radio through a warranty process. Just received it and plugged it into the wiring harness that was already set up and it still doesn't work.

    They didn't install anything. Blamed "the website" for not allotting enough time and we wasted about 4 hours of our time planning this and re-arranging our day. Then, they marked "service complete" so I couldn't even reschedule. Now I'm on my 4th call to Geek Squad to fix this mess. F- experience, 0 stars.

    Too many issues with car after installation

    Our car has had issues every since installation. Not sure if this work is guaranteed but it has caused battery problems constantly draining and fault errors.

    My experience with Best Buy was VERY DISAPOINTING. On the day of my appointment, I received a phone call telling me that the wiring harness that I needed was hundreds of dollars more than what I was told it would cost.
