    Aftermarket radio install VW Jetta

    Work was performed in a timely manner however, the installer did not connect the correct cables to allow my Sirius XM to function correctly therefore I had to take my vehicle to a different place to figure out what was wrong. Bestbuy refunded my install fee and I do not fault them.

    Canceled right before

    Canceled on us three days before and then told us we would have to go to a different store, over an hour away to get it installed. That isn’t worth the free installation as it would cost more in gas just to get to the other store.

    the installer seemed to know what i needed but when he proclaimed the job done, the back up camera didnt work when it did before his professional installation and the fader didnt work- no rear speaker control. he wanted to sell me a new back up camera even though he even said it worked before his installation.

    One of your technicians messed up all my sisters on my truck. Also he had a nasty attitude about it. None of my lights was working on my truck. And after he argued with me for about an hour also slam my truck door And then told me I had to take it to my dealership to fix it.

    I had a stereo installed in my car a few weeks ago and it was done so bad. I have a chip in my dash board where they have chipped a part off, the parts keep popping out because they didn't put it in correctly. My dash is completely messed up. I woud never recommend them for an install.

    Very unhappy had installation scheduled for a month they called and canceled installation abd gave no reason. Then they couldnt say when they could install. Very very unhappy with this service.

    There was an issue with the unit and now I can not can an appointment sooner than a couple of weeks out. When I scheduled the install I had to wait almost a month after buying the unit to have it installed by Best Buy. Now that there is an issue with the Apple play I have to wait another couple of weeks.

    Air bag

    He did a poor job and now my air bag light trun on the next day and now I took it to a streeo place and they told me he was messing around to my weel control and put a wrong wire and now it got my air bag light on and he told me he didn't orangnize my wire only he did tape it up n now I have to get my mechanic to fix my air bag light now

    Still trying to get it to work properly. Last time I had it in to the install department they said it was not grounded correctly. I have had the geek squad install several car radios but this one is a peice of crap

    Got my vehicle back with a cracked dashboard with one of the speakers not playing, and the wire harness boot was separating the rubber from the clip and left hanging , they tried to tell me that I needed new speakers so I agreed to my some, then later said that it was just a wire

    I bought the entire package. Radio. Harness and install kit and got free install. Install date was 3 weeks out got email my stuff was there. Got there and harness wasn’t ordered. Then they wanted me to wait another 3 weeks to install and acted like it was no big deal. Wait 6 weeks to install a radio that would take 45 mins

    No steering wheel controls

    I bought a wiring harness that’s advertised as being able to retain the steering wheel controls along with a deck that is advertised as compatible as well yet the tech could not get my steering wheel controls to work, I totally wasted $110 on the useless harness that does nothing as described

      Congratulations on your vehicle install! We know that having work done on your vehicle is a big decision, so we appreciate that you came to us for this service. That said, the install experience you described is not the one we had hoped to provide. I can understand why you would be frustrated that you spent money on a part that could not be used as intended. While we can't make any promises toward a certain result, as it would be up to the store, we recommend working with the store that performed the install to see if they can assist with this concern.

    The Car department is the worst of the worst, it takes you more than 20 mins for them to give you an appointment for more than a week apart. This department should not exist in BestBuy because is the only one that doesn't prevail the BestBuy way (reliable and fast) Good luck if you feel like dealing with this department.

    Geek squad has no customer service!

    The products I purchased from best buy are good. But the installer had no customer service skills. Very poorly did he explain what I needed to do to use my new car stereo. Had a bad attitude. He couldn't get the autoplay to work with my phone so he told me to call him when I figured it out.

    The Agent reinstalled my radio receiver with steering wheel harness, now when I change lanes or make a turn the radio Powers Off. I went back to the Agent and he refunded me my money, Not I'll try and fix it for you. Horrible service.
