    No steering wheel controls

    I bought a wiring harness that’s advertised as being able to retain the steering wheel controls along with a deck that is advertised as compatible as well yet the tech could not get my steering wheel controls to work, I totally wasted $110 on the useless harness that does nothing as described

      Congratulations on your vehicle install! We know that having work done on your vehicle is a big decision, so we appreciate that you came to us for this service. That said, the install experience you described is not the one we had hoped to provide. I can understand why you would be frustrated that you spent money on a part that could not be used as intended. While we can't make any promises toward a certain result, as it would be up to the store, we recommend working with the store that performed the install to see if they can assist with this concern.

    Took my truck in thinking it was gonna be all included..i bought all wires stereo etc..and they still charged me extra for installer labor even though I paid for install already. They hacked up my dash and stereo wasn't line up properly..plus I had to wait 2 weeks for the appoinment..i should of went somewhere more professional..

    Geek squad has no customer service!

    The products I purchased from best buy are good. But the installer had no customer service skills. Very poorly did he explain what I needed to do to use my new car stereo. Had a bad attitude. He couldn't get the autoplay to work with my phone so he told me to call him when I figured it out.

    Still trying to get it to work properly. Last time I had it in to the install department they said it was not grounded correctly. I have had the geek squad install several car radios but this one is a peice of crap

    I went to talk to installer before my appointment n he had an attitude n told me that if I didn't buy all the different parts then he wouldn't do it n I tried to explain that I didn't need all of them but he wasn't trying to hear me so I just cancelled because he was trying to charge $200 on top of the $100 I already paid

    Agent that assisted us sold us something that they couldn’t even install. The nerve of selling us a product and putting us on a waiting list for over a month just to find out the tech is not able to install the product sold! Very disappointed and will take my business elsewhere!

    The Agent reinstalled my radio receiver with steering wheel harness, now when I change lanes or make a turn the radio Powers Off. I went back to the Agent and he refunded me my money, Not I'll try and fix it for you. Horrible service.

    Took me taking in my car three times to get my stereo installed, after being told they couldn’t order parts for my car and having to go on amazon to get the ones they told me were the wrong ones. Not a professional installation if they don’t know what you need to get everything up and running the first time.

    Worst install experience ever. The car was in three times, and left with a "did the best I could" from the installer. It has never worked right, but zero faith they could ever make it work right. Never ever will I let them install anything again.

    Too expensive. Cumbersome. Poor user manual.

    Fair price including free installation concealed expensive installation of cables and replacements to existing features like new backup lite. All together, well over $400. Radio search cannot be stopped on channel choice. Just plays a few seconds and resumes searching. No help in user manual.

    Terrible... check engine light was on after it was installed. Was told that it must have been on before we brought the car in. Had to take it a true car stereo installer to be hooked up right.

    Run around from 2 stores on installation. Took time off from work both times and still was unable to get it installed. I gave up on best buy and did the research and installed it myself. If the radio wasn't a good buy I would have returned it and took my business elsewhere.

    Installation was a terrible experience. They said it would take three hours to install I was there almost 7. Then they couldn't figure out how to make the steering wheel module work. That meant another trip for another half a day. They ruined the air condioner controls installing the radio and then accused that is was my fault

    The sales associate took forever, like 35 minutes, to get the order into the system. Final it was in!! 24 hours later I received a message from Best Buy that they had cancelled the order and would refund the money. No explanation.

    First appointment system was not installed because hardware was needed and had to be ordered. Once hardware was delivered the second appointment was set up, show up only to be told by Technician he wasn't about to work in the cold and refused to install. Returned merchandise and hardware.

    Took my car there at 1030am and did not get it back until 230pm with no sound... Ended up purchasing another part which the person told me was the wrong part, took it to another place, which ended up fixing my install and getting my radio working. Just an overall horrible experience.

    I can't review this product because it STILL HASN'T BEEN INSTALLED. That's right... went in, poor girl was overwhelmed... asked me if I could leave it for 6 hours? Best Buy needs to hire additional help in this department. All of my other stereos have been installed at a Best Buy... this is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

    After purchasing a radio with CD player, we made seven trips at 62 miles each way to try to get it working properly. It never did. It seems as though there is no wiring harness that works with this series of vehicles. I am just wondering why they didn't know that when we purchased the equipment. smh
