At my local Best Buy I experienced what was certainly an up and down experience. When I purchased my new Kenwood head unit and asked for help on scheduling an appointment to have it installed, I spoke to a man who really didn't seem like he cared to help me. He just circled 3 random parts on a sheet and told me to order them then give him a call. In the end, 2 of those 3 parts were correct, and I actually wasted 2 and 1/2 hours waiting to hear that before getting my car back. Replaced the incorrect harness, and ordered the correct one. Waited about a week, then another week until I was able to get another appointment. This time, it was the same person who helped me get the correct parts named Adam. He was super helpful and stepped me through everything I can do with my new radio. Installed it in just about 2 and a half hours, and it was absolutely perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better job. Kudos to Adam who was extremely helpful. In the beginning it seemed as though it was going to be a rough experience, but in the end I got a very solid install at a good price. 4/5 for me just because of how great the end result was.

Purchased a radio from Toyota, but it did not work out. Tech tried his best to make it work.thank you. Radio had problem.

Nick at the Gainesville store did an excellent job of installing my receiver. He also did a great job of making right a disaster regarding this installation that occurred at a sister store. He and the Gainesville, GA team went out of their way to make sure that the issues at the other store did not result in a negative experience. I highly recommend them especially for replacing the OEM receiver in a Subaru vehicle.

Installer was very knowledgeable about the product and the installation process, was able to recommend the necessary extra parts required to actually install and use the unit that the website did not offer at purchase.

If I buy my in dash radio somewhere else, can I still pay the 99$ for geek squad and will they put it in? Or do I need to buy the radio at best buy

I entrusted my perfect condition 2007 Shelby Mustang GT500 to Al the store manager who introduced me to Jeremy his technician. I already knew some of the challenges with installing the Pioneer AVIC x940BT in my GT500 from my research, so I put Jeremy through a mini interview and he nailed all the questions perfectly. I dropped it off the next weekend when the store in Aurora opened at 10 and he called me back 2 hours later, it's a hard install...I know I've done one and it took me 5 hours, and it was done. Not a scratch or scuff on my interior. I was so impressed, I dropped off my wife's convertible Mustang that afternoon and had him install a new Alpine head unit in it and he had that done in 45 minutes! That one was a much easier install. I could have gone to a place where they install toys in your car or the home of the 1 dollar install (riiiight...) and paid double or triple, but the Al and Jeremy at the store in Aurora did it perfect and Im so happy I went there. They completely exceeded my very high expectations.

Just had the Kenwood DNN770HD in-dash nav system installed in my Jeep Wrangler this week. The team did a great job - minus 2 mishaps - only 1 of which was their fault. Brought it back today - the tech Brandon in the Wilmington location was fantastic. Right away figured out that the microphone had never been plugged in (the oops on their side) and also - we researched and discovered that for amplified systems - the system needs to be hooked up to the front speakers, not the rear in order to hear the Navigation voice. All in all - it's a beautiful system - and the guys both days were professional and very clean. Great work for the price.

Best Buy’s installation team did a good job on my head unit install. The first appointment half of my speakers didn’t work after the initial install so I set up another appointment and they fixed it at no additional cost to me so I am pleased with the service.

Javier Martinez at Florida City installed a replacement stero for my SUV. He did a great job, helped to show me how to pare my phone and how the station presets work. He cleaned up the his work area afterward, which is greatly appreciated! This location has an exceptional auto installation team and has for years!

Product exceeded expectations and service was excellent

It was great just didn’t have my dvd player that I had requested and the guy said he thought it would be fine and didn’t bother to call and ask first. If I didn’t ask for a dvd player I would have kept it

I'm very happy with the installation of my aftermarket Car Play unit. It looks good and works perfectly. I had decided I was going to purchase a Car Play unit for my older car and, after reviewing the installation instructions, realized it was not something I could realistically do myself. I'm very happy I looked at Car Play devices on BestBuy and found they offered FREE installation.

I want to thank the Lancaster car audio install team for the professional, expert, and flawless installation of my touchscreen receiver including steering wheel controls. They were efficient and the radio fits, looks, and sounds perfect. They took great care to ensure my Toyota Sequoia was as clean as when I brought it in. The 1-1/2 hour trip each way was well worth it.

It's cool. My daughter is happy. There needs to be more transparency when ordering on the website. I shipped the radio to her and she ended up needing a lot more parts than what the website stated.

I had a Pioneer AVIC-6200NEX in-dash HD Radio/GPS installed in my 2005 Mitsubishi Galant with SIrius Radio, Backup Camera, and Steering Wheel Control. The Geek Squad Autotechs did excellent job. They are professional and knowledgeable. The parts they recommended are perfect. The installation looks as good as factory provided. The HD Radio/Sirius sounds great, the Backup Camera is hardly noticeable and the backup video is automatic and perfect, the Steering Wheel Controls are more than I expected with volume, channel, and audio source selection for both Radio and Sirius. I strongly recommend the Geek Squad Autotechs for your Auto Radio and Electronics installation.

When I purchased my original deck which I had to ultimately return they said NO free installation available for months....so when returning the faulty deck they surprised me when they included installation and were able to get me in within a week. Service was great and installation perfect. Much appreciated this after a bad experience with a faulty deck and money spent at another shop to install a faulty product.

My salesperson was Jason and I want to start off by saying he was super helpful and new his stuff! If it wasn’t for him I probably would have not done the installation at all….also super thanks to the Geek squad Jason And T for the great job I love the turn out and I truely recommend anyone else looking to do this to go for it!

Installation date: 9/14/19 2:00pm The Geek Squad in New Braunfels, TX are incredibly efficient and knowledgeable in their craft. They installed a new Kenwood radio in my car in record time. They were more than generous with their time when it came to explaining how all the buttons, gadgets, and programs worked on the fun and technologically advanced system. I was especially impressed by the clean, orderly service area and admired the way the two gentlemen tech installers seemed to take great pride in their work. Thank you Best Buy!

Recently had new head unit pluse back up and dash can installed on my jeep at inataller at the pinole location .the guy did an awesome job and went out of his way to make aure it was done correctly.
