The movie was good overall, boring in spots, and lost a little steam in its final third. But the 3D was quite good, and I recommend this one for anyone into 3D movies.

Updated Moby Dick story. Excellent graphic effects, enjoyable and entertaining story line. If I had seen it in the theater, I wouldn't have purchased the movie.

I liked this movie, and thought they did a decent job with the story. I enjoyed watching it in 3D. Too bad that BestBuy didn't offer a steelbook with the 3D bluray!

To be honest, I'd never heard of this movie but came across it while browsing movies at Best Buy. The package descriptions seemed to be interesting so I purchased the 3d Blu-Ray version. An interesting movie about survival.

This is one of those great movies you never hear about. The special effects exceeded my expectations. This is a movie that kept you on the edge of your seat. Definitely a step further than Moby Dick the original. Loved it.

Despite some bad reviews, I thought this movie was very well done. It managed to tell the true story without focusing only on the violence and gore of what actually happened. I would recommend this movie if you like history.

I sincerely enjoyed this movie and the struggles of the characters to get home. It's crazy how whaling was performed and although I'm very glad it is regulated it seemed as though it was a dangerous (albeit brutal) task

This was a very good movie, a little short of great. It tells the tale of Moby Dick before it became the book. The acting is good, visual effects are excellent.

My wife and I are fans of seafaring films as well as Ron Howard and Chris Hemsworth. When you add in the historical aspect of the film it is a very good watch.

I would say this movie is pretty boring but the effects and 4K look good enough to justify the purchase if you can find it on sale.

I found this movie interesting. I had always known the story of Moby Dick, I had no idea it was based off a real encounter a crew had with a giant whale.

Ron Howard does a fantastic job of bringing this real life adventure to the big screen. Very exciting. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Regardless of what the critics thought about this movie, I thought it was a great movie adventure. I think Ron Howard did a great job directing this movie.

I found this film to be pretty enjoyable and the special effects were well done. The cast was all outstanding, I will watch this movie again.

I needed a good movie to watch with family visiting from out town. This movie did not disappoint, great story with lots of action. The 4K picture made the amazing visual effects that much better, I recommend it!
