I didn't read the heart of the sea but this movie I a wonderful stand alone film. Great adventure movie.

Takes you back to another time. Great acting and the settings are very cool. Really enjoyed this movie.

Purchased this without seeing reviews, but the kids liked the story and it didn't drag considering that it's longer than the normal 90 or do.. Good watch

This could have been a better film with a stronger story. 'Twas still enjoyable but, not epic as I thought it would have been. Yet, not a bad film.

What a great movie. It all happens extremely fast. Acting was on par and the entire plot was accurate. I love the perspective in which the story was told.

I like 3D movies! So I try and get all the ones I know i will like So far no disappointments yet in a 3D dvd

An outstanding production by Ron Howard. The movie follows the book. The out-takes and dialogues are almost as good as the movie! Well worth the price.
