Hemsworth blew me away with his acting range! The man is a serious actor who can carry a film so easily with his charisma and charm. Great movie!

I loved this movie in Blu Ray. Lots of action, suspense, and trill. I think seeing this movie in 3D would be a real plus. Great for the whole family.

Ron Howard can tell a story! Great story, great acting. I got the 3D version, only a few scenes you could tell it was 3D. Bottom line, worth a watch!

I'd give this one a 3.5 - 3.75 if I could. The film was well made, however it just didn't resonate well with me. I thought they could have deepened the stories in some areas to make it more compelling or change the tone a bit. If you like this genre of sea faring movies, I'd say get master and Commander with Russel Crow or the searies Black Sails.

CGI was cool, alot of action. Story was written for the big screen. Wow don't mess with the whale.
