I purchased this movie, despite its ratings because I thought that it would be a interesting action movie in 3D.

Good film 3d was ok could been better. I still always perfect 3d over reg or 4k .when 3d is available.

Based on the story of moby dick. This movie was ok. Guess I had to read the book to fully understand it.

The special effects look amazing, but some of the acting is hollow and generic. Typical Ron Howard fare...

This was an okay sea story. It is not "Moby Dick" but it was enjoyable. I'll probably never see it again.

The movie started very slow and dry. But, once they got to the whale pod the action saved the movie.

The movie was ok-dragged a bit at times. And the 3D was average too-I thought they could've done more.

Good action movie with great photography. Hopefully it will make you want to read Moby Dick.

I bought this with anticipation and was disappointed. The acting was good and the actors worked hard and tortured themselves but was for a boring script. They advertised a moby dick movie and you got a Life of Pi ripoff that made me watch Life of pi again. i do not recommend this movie unless you are a die hard Chris hemsworth fan.

I was expecting this to be more of a whaling movie. But overall it was a pretty good movie.

The story is solid at times, and then you get lost at times. Its just an "ok" movie to me.

It was fun to see a movie about the true life events that inspired the book Moby Dick.

If you have read Moby Dick, you should watch this movie, it is worth it to see this movie.
